| Basically just change the FieldOfView property of the workspace.CurrentCamera to 20, through a LocalScript. You might want to add some animation or whatnot. |

You can't just ask for scripts. You have to at least ATTEMPT to make the script you want. If you have problems, then you bring it here and we will try to fix it.

@devinci He never asked for a script. He wanted to know how to make them. I'd be willing to bet that he was referring to the new camera feature, wondering how to use it. |

Qoute: "How do you script that"
Sounds like hes asking for someone to teach him or asking for the script itself to me.
If he said: "Where do I begin scripting this, because I do not know where to start."
THEN it would be ok.... |

"Sounds like hes asking for someone to teach him"
YEAH!!! That's the whole point of this forum! To learn new things about scripting. To get help, about scripting. If you're here just fixing scripts without saying a word, then you shouldn't be here. There's no point just giving someone a script, or plainly fixing their script. You gotta tell 'em what's wrong. And sometimes that's all it takes, sometimes you don't even need to post a fixed version of the script.
Btw, the least you could've done was ask him what he really wanted, before making the assumption that he just wants a script. |

Reread that post and think.
"You gotta tell 'em what's wrong"
We can't... Why? Theres no script.
We teach those who read the rules and post correctly.
Not those who don't. |

I was giving an example, a general example. - _ -
And you really failed. BADLY.
Because my point was that there doesn't have to be a script. |

Whatever helps you sleep at night...
And Yes, unless he asks for for directions to his destination, and not a driver. Then you can't post without a script.
Read the rules. |

He never disobeyed the rules, man. He wanted to know how to create a binocular effect, I told him how. I didn't even give him a script, nor did he post one. He never asked for a script. I don't care how you think about it. Point is, he never disobeyed the rules so he got his help.
Seriously, devinci. I've been posting in this forum since '08, I know how things work. I know every rule there has ever been, from that point on. And none of them said anything about how you shouldn't help people. - _ - |

| I don't care how you see it, the facts are simple. He wanted to know how to make a binocular effect, I told him how. I honestly have no interest in the way you see it. All I care about is that he got his help, and it seems we don't share that. So why do you try? Why are you even here? Spit it out. When you think giving [ workspace.CurrentCamera.FieldOfView = 20 ] is breaking the rules, yet you also say that you can't help someone with mere words. From the looks of it, you're just here, telling people to get out. |

| I support DeVinci. This is a bug fix forum, not a teaching forum. If he wants to know how, then he should use the wiki instead of bothering us. |

I never said YOU were breaking the rules. I NEVER said YOU couldn't give help.
I said HE was asking for a script.

| Learn to read? Haha! How about you learn to read, when the hell did I say you said that? Nah, I'm done with you. It seems all you care about is telling people to get out, when you're the one who should get out. Your extra-ordinary lack of logic makes me seriously doubt your scripting abilities as well, which is another reason to you walking out. But that's just an assumption, ain't that right? Just because I think you have no scripting abilities in you, whatsoever, doesn't give me the right to tell you to leave. No, you see... Just because I perceive you as not a scripter, doesn't mean I'm right. Just like how you think he was asking for a script. |
