When a person enters a place, he/she can have the option not to load it all they way. Rather, only a portion of the place will be loaded: The place where that player spawns. This doesn't mean that the rest of the place is inactive, it still is, but whatever is going on in the rest of the place won't affect the player's portion, their zone of the place, unless the action enter's their zone. When the player moves outside of the zone, another zone opens up in the place, loading more of it(I realize this will cause a second of lag, but it's worth it over the whole place being laggy, right?). The new "zone" will be as big as the old one, except that the center of it will be where the player is when that zone was created. A player has control to de-load a zone that he/she is not in, to make the place less laggy.
Advantages 1. Creates a LOT less lag in a place.
Disadvantages 1. Makes things slightly more confusing. 2. Causes a slight lag when a zone is loaded/de-loaded.
The advantage outweighs the disadvantages in my opinion. Comments? |

| This is impossible. Even just loading a portion of a game will make a lot of lag. It will load the whole place, and then you have to de-load all zones you aren't in. That, in turn, will be more lag than entering a game like REDALERT2's Sandbox with the whole game loaded. |

Actually, it's not impossible. Take MC for example, that loads a certain amount of data for each player, with next to no lag on decent computers. (By decent, I don't mean 1 TB monstrosities!) In other words, support.

| It does lag sometimes. And it's still impossible. MC isn't like roblox. In MC, the game doesn't run on scripts. It runs on the main operating system. It loads on its own. Roblox programs on the outside of the operating system which makes it so it's not permanant. |

That is just like minecrafts chunks. It would require seperate bricks in order to do that.

| Not impossible at all, for those who say it is. Actually though, just to say this, if you've ever played a really large (Not high brick count, but a LOT of space) then you notice that ROBLOX already does this. It's just that the "Area" is about 1,000 studs in each direction of the player. |
