| I know that ROBLOX isn't meant to run on these devices... but what I mean is just something where you can go on and like check your pm's,robux, tix, friend requests, go on forums and people, check your profile, etc. Basically everything but playing the games. It is a pain to go to safari every time I want to do this... it would make it much easier... although maybe after many new versions of ROBLOX or iDevices come out it will be possible to have it on iDevices. |

| Well iDevices are more convenient because well they supply our basic needs...many people have phones and mp3 players. Im not talking apple products only but like a phone application in general.ROBLOX also has an app already but all you can do is check the news.Pretty exciting? No.I'm sure that it would be more fun to manage your account rather than look at the news. |

The app is called ROBLOX.
I support. You should be able to play ROBLOX games on Apple devices. |

The ROBLOX Mobile app is a free app for Apple devices. The app can be found here [http://itunes[dot]apple[dot]com/us/app/roblox-mobile/id431946152?mt=8]
I do not think they have an app for Androids yet.
It appears ROBLOX is trying to let users play on an iPad. Go here [http://blog.roblox.com/2012/01/ipad-tech-demo/] to learn more. |

Basic needs? are you CRAZY? Basic needs are to eat, sleep and go to the loo. Ipods, and that are OPTIONAL. And it costs to make aps. So why would they even bother? |

| I said phones... and in the world of today a phone is considered a necessity to some parents... Not saying a fancy phone with data plans...but a phone. |

"You should be able to play ROBLOX games on Apple devices."
The problem is creating an app that can run without lagging on a mobile device. Mobile devices don't have as much memory or processing power that your desktop or laptop has. The other problem is creating a suitable UI for a device without a physical keyboard. |

| Well they did a test on the blog, and it seemed fine. The game was running smoothly on iPad and they could move around. The only thing that seemed a little off was the game reaction time. |

| A phone is NOT a "basic need"! My parents NEVER used their phones- EVER; and we're not poor, either. |

They did a test rendering a fixed, simple geometry from a fixed, single viewpoint which you could rotate just to test out a single dynamic light object. Even if they could move around, I'm sure it was just that. Seeing as scripts don't reference a set of buttons - they can call upon any keys. The user input and UI would be near impossible to account for every key on the keyboard that any given script could call on. There are also other major limitations to being able to do this on a "smart"phone who's sheer amount of pixels uses almost 3/4ths of it's graphics processing powers when displaying a single, solid, static image when idle. Though, I wouldn't expect you to understand any of this. If you did, you wouldn't have suggested this in the first place.
By the way. That delayed reaction time? That's called input lag. And it's a very big problem - even if it's late by a few tenths of a second. Imagine if your cursor continued moving for 1 tenth of a second (100 milliseconds) even after you had stopped moving your mouse. I would put money on that your cursor will end up about 1~2 centimeters away from where you intended it to go. That's a very big error.

| Yes but they didn't have a crusor. They tapped in the direction they wanted to go and it went that way. At the rate technology is going, it might be possible. I mean you can't say that it's impossible. I also something that you can run a DFU server and that seemed to work. Allthough on a DFU server it can be extremely laggy. |

At the rate technology was previously going, the iPad 3 was released with a 4 core GPU and 3 million extra pixels. 3 of the four cores are used exclusively to simply manage the extra 3 million pixels - leaving only one core left at the same speed of the iPad 2's GPU. Apple doesn't improve in the way you think it does. Once again, to get this to work you'd have to have an entire keyboard on your screen, plus the original UI elements, and somehow make it so you don't get hand/neck cramps trying to use the damn thing.

Yes, because everyone has $100 to blow on a keyboard so they can use an app. |
