(Niether of these need an explanation, we all already know why they are so scary) Exorcist. Silence of the lambs. |

| The Grudge is definetly one of the scariest. Nightmare on elm street can be freaky at times, but as more of those films came out they started to become a comedy. Friday the 13th sn't scary Its just gory. Jeepers Creepers, IT nd hucky can be kinda scary. Chucky isn't the most terrifying thing in the world but it can be quite scary. The Thing is quite scary but it kinda doesn't really make me scared. Silence of the lambs is.... Quite cary but In think Hannibal Rising is a bit more scarier. |

The Grundge didn't scare me. Japans horror doesn't affect me.
Well, so far, I haven't found a movie that still scares me, and I still need to watch The Thing |

Halloween (seriously ignore the recent gorefest films that come out nearly every year, treat yourself to a good scare, and watch this.)
A Nightmare on Elm Street (Unlike most horror films this is actually clever.)
The Thing (Decent scares, good characters) |

| Zilex, I think you would like The Thing. It develops it's characters VERY well, so you can try to solve the whole "who is what" feel of the movie. It's a mixture between Sci-Fi, Horror, and Mystery. The prequel isn't as good, but it's not awful. |

@Lav IT was just stupid, and Childs Play (Chucky) was better that IT, but not by much. Don't get me wrong, IT was a great book, but should've stayed a book. Hannibal rising is a very good movie, but (Almost) nobody can beat anthony hopkins in acting.
My top 3 scariest: 1.The exorcist 2.The shining 3.The silence of the lambs |
