Me and a few friends have noticed over the years we are able to do less and less in roblox. When I first started, about 4 years ago my computer ran fine no lag ever, but now when I play I can't even play a baseplate game. My friends and I feel like roblox is making us an outcast not letting us play its games that it offers. My parents are to poor to afford a new computer, so mabey you can make a download for roblox with the low low settings like it was 4 years ago or so.

| I have done this, but I am still unable to load any game without it taking atleast 30 minutes, but at that time I have disconected due to being idle. It also lags my computer so bad that I am unable to do anything I literaly have to force power down my computer. |

| Consider saving up for some more Ram for your computer, it is a cheaper way to upgrade. |

| Press Ctrl Alt Delete to see what processes are running, shut down as many as you can to clear up memory. |

| If it's really that bad, there's not much you can do to improve your lag greatly...I would just wait until you get a new computer |

| You either need a new computer, clear some space on your computer, or get a speedier internet. |

Well, I think you'd need a better internet connection, not a new computer.
But, if you don't have enough money, don't waste your money to play some stupid game.

How bad exactly is your computer?
RAM? (GB? This doesnt really matter as long as its like 2 at least)
CPU? (brand, how many cores and wat GHz)
GPU? (Do you have a GPU card or is it integrated to CPU) |

You'd best go into yor computers graphic settings and lower them. Or you can (If your grahpic card providers allow it) upgrade your grahpic card by downloading for free. I did it for free (I have Nvidia) Or close down any other internet tab/programs you have up. Another thing you could do is delete any files you do not use,or cannot see in my cast (I has about up to 30 game programs i could not see, plus they look unappealing so i delted them) |

| Well, I play this game because I used to like it, and I used to make games for my friends. I can't do that anymore and I miss it very much. |

Answer radio's questions. If you don't know where to find that info: windows key + r type in "dxdiag" all the info should appear there.

You could definitely use more RAM, a 2GB stick is about $15-30.

so long as your graphics card isn't a crayon box and your computer isn't cluttered with unneeded processes then things should run fairly smooth.

If your graphics card is integrated into your CPU you might have problems with graphics, but i think buying more ram should make it run a bit smoother (even though it might still lag if you look at many parts, assuming you DO have an integrated graphics thingy)
Make sure the RAM is the right type. Its either DDR2 or DDR3 (something like that, probably DDR2)
Open your computer case and read what it says around the RAM somewhere... Then just buy a card of that. Though if its cheap i suggest throwing the old card away and buying more new since i think its better to have them be the same model and all to work more reliably.
Is it a laptop btw? Not sure how much ram costs for those... |
