Not very smart, and thankfully don't make up a large percentage of religious people.

I'm only 4 chapters into Brave New World and I now don't want any progress in society.

Call me ignorant; but I do not consider such an outdated book to really provide much legitimate prediction of how the future will turn out.

If you actually read the book, most of what it's talking about is already happening, or can happen, but as the book even says, the leaders are against the "great" change, but then some radical liberal leaders will come in, and accept it, then BOOM dystopian world, here we come.

Honestly I don't understand why someone would think we beamed down.

I do have a religion yes but why would anyone think that in a place full of law's and physic's and such why we beamed down.

That would be rather boring...

Government taking care of you = no freedom.

Or it eventually leads to that.

Creationalism and (Macro)Evolutionalism both still theories.

Yes, Microevolution (small changes in species per generation due to natural selection) has been proven, and it is WIDELY ACCEPTED by Christians.
It is only Macroevolution (a bacterium turns into a whale) that most Creationists have issues with.

I am neither a Creationalist nor an Evolutionist, because both lack strong scientific proof. (Missing link and etc.)

The big issue with the macroevolution argument is that it fails to address how small microevolution baby-steps eventually lead to macroevolutions in the long run.

Many creationists hold erroneous beliefs about evolution such as that which is expressed by the statement "I accept microevolution, but not macroevolution." (This is the position of YEC Kent Hovind) Microevolution is supposed to be evolution that doesn't result in a new species and macroevolution is supposed to be evolution that does lead to a new species. This argument is akin to someone saying that while he believes that sometimes wind can erode rock, he doesn't believe it can change the rock's shape. Micro- and macroevolution describe the same process, but with a difference in operational time. If one accepts microevolution, they must also accept macroevolution since the former always leads to the latter if given enough time to work. One cannot simply accept one and not the other. In biology, macroevolution is a broad subject of which speciation is only one part. This argument against speciation may be an attempt by creationists to reserve the power to produce a species for God alone.

Some creationists have abandoned the attempt to deny that new species can appear (and disappear) by natural means, in favor of drawing a barrier, not between species, but between baramins (also known as "kind"), some sort of collection larger than species. To date, there has not been given any indication of just what sort of a thing a baramin is, what is the nature of the barrier between baramins, or how one might detect the barrier (or suspect its non-existence) in any particular case; other than the uninformative "baramins are those things that present a barrier to evolution".

Of course one generation is going to be a little bit different then the other, but then multiply that by 1,000,000.

Macroevolution is well documented in many cases in the fossil record. Just not with hominids. xD

Gamer, the arguement against such small changes taking place over a very long period of time is that there would have to be tons of different species leading up to the "end" creature.

Hence the term "missing links".

You cannot accept microevolution while denying macroevolution.

Macroevolution are just microevolutions sticked together. Saying that microevolution is true but macroevolution is not is like saying that when you own a large chunk of land and begin selling and buying other large chungs of land the area you own will not change.

Christians =/= all other non-polytheist religions.

Please stop relating Christianity to religion in general.

Order can not come from disorder, if you think this perfectly functioning universe where-by everything has a law (gravity, natural selection.. ect..) came about without any regulation or creator you don't have any right to call yourself a man of logic.

It's like saying a tornado goes through a junkyard and makes a perfectly functioning Boeing 747, it doesn't happen.
