| So I want a certain brick to be within a box that the camera can view. The rest of your screen is covered up by GUI, and the box that is open is not in the center of the window. Is there any formula to follow to get the brick to fit into that part of the screen? |

box = game.Workspace.Box --give it a different name than just "Part" local camera = game.CurrentCamera camera.CameraSubject = box --I think its CameraSubject, but you might want to check that property

| oh you dont want it to be in the center... put an invisible part next to it, so it will be on the side and make that the subject instead |

| I agree with Tech. Although it isn't that effective. It may help your problem. ^_^ |

| Its hard to understand exactly what you're talking about with what you've described. You have a GUI filling up most of the screen except for the box, or the part? Is that the problem? Where is the brick supposed to be in relation to this box? Box in what contect, a physical box in the game, or a GUI box? It would be helpful to have a bit more detail and substance behind your request. |

Gee, waffle, maybe you should be clear when you say things. "The box isnt in the center of the screen." Most people's first interpretation would be that the box isnt there, and you want it there. |

I get what he is saying. Screen __________________________________ [ ] ] [ ] ] [ ] ] [ GUI ] ] [ ] ______ ] [ ] [ ] ] [ ] [_____] ] [ ] ] [ ] ] ___________________________________]
Basically, he is trying to say that he wanted to position a camera to a part/brick. But actually he wanted the camera to look at it really inaccurately. Normally, it looks at it in the middle of the screen but he wanted it to face at it side of the screen. Therefore, he needs to know how to move the camera subject while it is faced at a specific object. |
