I think a few of you guys have virtual private servers, so maybe you know of a particularly good one at a low price.
Amazon EC2 is quite expensive, and so is Linode and Rackspace. I don't require much CPU or disk space/bandwidth, just something to run some apps occasionally.

| VPS is used because you have root access and can install/run whatever you want. |

that's the epic part of it being virtualised, right? |

| Careful what you say about android, it will be the main operating system for satellites soon enough in the future, along with HTC mobile device designs. |

Soon satellites will be running custom android firmware though. |

| Excuse me, but Google is already taking over the world behind all the big companies backs. Recently they've designed a lens type system that projects your phone stuff into your eyeball. It's derpy O_o |

They haven't. Its still years away. The closest thing we have is a optical lens which is a 10*10 pixel display.
Oh, they also created a QUANTUM COMPUTER ON A DIAMOND! |

| Lastly, nightname please go search "Project Glass". It is a set of glasses (Designed by Google) that gives you an augmented reality HUD. Google claims that it will be released later this year for around $400. |

i don't get why as you put it, AR HUDs are only being done now. I mean they don't seem that complicated tbph.
I want one that can read my eye movements and allow me to type on an onscreen keyboard, so I don't look like a complete idiot in public shouting stuff at my eyes |

I saw it. I check Google Labs a LOT - mainly because I develop for android. The glasses them self do not work like how they look in the advert.

| Wow... VolumeDrive does seem awesome... yet it's so cheap... again, what IS the catch? The specs they have there are just too good to be true. |

I have one. I'm using Linode. Best VPS I have ever had, SUPER fast.
$19.95 for 512 MB Ram, 20GB Storage, 200GB Transfer.
I couldn't be happier with it. |
