Swear words should be allowed, because freedom of speech is a basic right. Since this is not a game but a gaming network, the creators of the individual games should decide whether or not the players should be allowed to swear or not. For example, they could use scripting to institute a ban from the game if someone swore. And a lot of older kids and even some adults play this game.
"BUT TZSaRA, K1DS PLAy THiS GAME T00O0OO!!!!!!!"
Yeah, I know. But they can institute a profanity filter, like there is in WoW. And they can make it incredibly hard to disable (speaking of which, Roblox really needs to up their security; in general and with Parental settings).
Roblox admins don't like people swearing, yet they're too lazy to establish a profanity filter for those who are under the age of 13, which should be: can't say it, can't see it.
This relates to the article Telamon was interested in a few months ago, in which a girl was embarrassed to show her friends Roblox because it's childish. One of the things that makes it childish is the profanity rule.
And it's stupid, because the rule isn't even enforced completely. People can just type it a little differently and get away with it. Meanwhile, people can post a harmless ":)" as a forum post, to show support for an idea, and get a permanent ban. People can also get banned for things already reported, like Dayren's case, in which he posted a link in Robloxiwood, before the rule of no links was even introduced, and got banned several times for the same post. The video it linked to had no inappropriate content whatsoever. In fact, it promoted Roblox and advertised it.
Roblox shouldn't be so hard on harmless things, be more reasonable, and have a better security system. And most importantly, they should allow people to swear. There are words that aren't even really that bad, such as the alternate word for a donkey, which people get banned for still.
Thank you for your time and consideration, Tzsara |

| If you come to ROBLOX's forums to demonstrate your views on profanity, maybe an alternative forum on another website could suit your requirements. |

"Freedom of speech is a basic right" *Therefore swearing should be allowed*
That doesn't really comprehend the same logic, there is a right time and a right place for everything, and freedom of speech is a reference to opinion, it is more commonly to do with politics, not simply saying words for the sake of seeming rebellious, Most swear words do derive to have a meaning, generally rude, therefore why they are seen as bad, the places they derive from give bad influence, your point is like saying p**n is suitable for five year olds, I'm sorry, but this is not thought up properly. |

| I can understand why you might say the idea of kids choosing the option to allow swearing, but the whole point of growing up is to become responsible, kids are furtherly drawn towards temptation, and like to think themselves rebellious, they would allow the swearing in some cases in this circumstance, and be drawn into something really not for their age group. |
