Borderline, a FPS being developed by StudioMM. Featuring maps from EBR members (Gamati, samaxis, Finwei, and yours truly), this upcoming game is promised to expand the traditional limits of Roblox first person shooters. A Beta will be released in May or June.
Is there anything in particular that you guys would like to see in a Roblox FPS? Anything out there that previous first person shooters have overlooked? Although we feel we have pretty much everything covered already, we're open to suggestions.

-Spawns that aren't ontop of eachother. -Ability to rank up + buy weapons -No classes
I hate when they have the freaking classes...

I see nothing wrong with classes.
Although, I think most FPS's on Roblox, and even FPS's in general, forget to add variation to the guns. I'm not saying you need laser guns or anything, but make the guns a little more obviously different. For example, in Call of Duty, the only differences between the Assault Rifles are how overpowered one is in comparison to the over. This is a baaaad way of making guns, and you should focus on balancing stats, while at least making them different; kinda like having fast firing but weak guns, and then some slow firing but fairly strong guns. |

I don't want to see too many guis and such. Why? a. I understand people want their creations to be pretty but I just hate looking at 4+ guis on screens.
I'd like to see Command CFrame work instead of a brick building. Why? a. You will get more people to play your game.
You have my vote for now. Also if you need help I am a great Landscape Artist. Give me a PM.

| There will be ranks and awards. The no-class thingy is interesting, although I find it useful when I don't want to spend a lot of time on customization. I'll definitely bring that up. |

| Generally, though, we'll want modern maps that look slightly ravaged by war (but not post-apocalyptic). Bigger is better. If this means sacraficing some detail (as it does in the case of Traffic Jam) then so be it. |

Slime, Code Pony of StudioMM.
I'm the head programmer here, well, almost the only programmer, lol. I'm the one making the magic happen with the guns and stuff. Yes, the guns will be accurate when looking down sights (Which I may add is Right-Click), but just like real life, there is a TINY amount of spread, it won't ALWAYS go where you are looking.
We have done many of the things that you have already asked, like keeping the UI to a minimum. There will be a huge array of guns and armors (Vests, etc.) that you can choose from, and you earn them buy either doing assignments (Kill (X) People with (X) item (X) times) r something, and by buying them with in-game currency.
The animations will be top-tier, both FPS and 3rd person. The lobby will be GUI oriented, but with only the best effects. You will have your own set of classes that you customize and use. When you rank up, you can unlock more slots for more classes, to hold more guns.
Yes, there will be rewards for earning a certain amount of kills within a life, or just by getting them, sort of like MW3's strike packages. They consist of airdrops, helicopter overwatch, UAV Reconnaissance Drones, Sentries, User-controlled air-vehicles, and more.
In some maps, they will have vehicles just lying around for you to use, such as finwei's map, or Mah's map. Some will be to compact to have vehicles, so they won't have any.
The spawns will be dynamic, setting you far-ish away from the battle, and out of sight from enemies, so that way there is a minimal chance of you being spawn-killed.
If you have anymore things you would like me to know to put into our game, or that you would just like to see in it, please let us know. And no, we can not give you administrative powers, or let you have certain weapons. What fun would that be?

How I got right-click to do sights is a secret. :3 Our gun maker is also manofthelol, who is a well known weapons creator. Yey. Lol I hope this doesn't sound like bragging. :| Pokerface. Well, all I can say is it's going to be great. Top of the line UI, animations, etc. I am sort of a perfectionist, and I can't stand even the slightest offset of something. Lol. |
