=== Intro === Well, I've gotten to 20,000 posts. Might as well make a big deal about, because everyone else seems to whenever they reach a milestone. In addition, I obviously have to clone St0rmx's idea from last week at his 10k post and make this giant word wall for people to not read. You're welcome.
=== Joining ROBLOX === June 21st, 2007. My best friend shows me this “cool new game” he downloaded onto his desktop. He shows me a game, I remember it being dark brown and red. A build-it-yourself type of game, if I remember correctly. Possibly set in a volcano? Not entirely sure. I go home later that day and ask my parents if I can join. They see that I need to download something and instantly say “no” (as they are always afraid of viruses and such).
So, unfortunately, I left this wonderful game alone for two years, only occasionally playing a game with my other friend on his computer with his account. Then, he is going to move away. I want to keep in touch, and remember this game (it had been quite a while since we talked about it). I signed up and sent him a friend request immediately. When he arrived to his new house, he logged on and showed me around (I hadn't done anything previously). The first place we go is Chaos Canyon, and I think that is what sparks my still running interest in BrickBattles. Afterwards we went to WingzWorld, but I couldn't figure out how to fly even though he tells me the controls multiple times. Eventually, he became inactive as did I. I returned to ROBLOX sometime in mid-'10 (I had even forgotten the name of the game and had to ask him), but he didn't come back with me. So I was left to my own devices, and somehow stumbled across the clan world.
=== Introduction to Clans === So, from my memory, the first group I joined was something I was recruited into. During the time, I was an incredibly inexperienced player (looking back at how much I've changed since starting ROBLOX surprises me, whether or not it's apparent to others I don't know). I don't remember what the name of the clan was, but after a month or two of dedication to the group, I got exiled from it. During this time, I had also joined and been exiled from several other clans.
Then I found a clan that I was accepted in: KRINK. KRINK was the first clan that I left by choice over exile. I met a few good friends there, but I don't think any of them remember me anymore. I enjoyed being in KRINK for a while, but then lazyboy08 quit. When Ib[numbers] got the group, I felt like he wasn't a suitable leader and joined the clan of the 3iC, Lavapig. His clan (RUDF) was also fun to be in. I met another good friend in TheExplosion101, but we've lost contact by now. Again, I was in here for a few months dedicated to the group. However, one day Lavapig got on an alt and pretended to be a FEAR member trying to get me to join FEAR (which the 2iC of the group hated, along with RAT, and consequently Lavapig had put them as an enemy and such). Now, the thing here was that I didn't take it seriously. First of all, I recognized FEAR was the largest group on ROBLOX and that our group posed no threat to them, they probably don't even know what the group is. In addition, Lavapig impersonated somebody of only a mid-rank (because the name was the same as his rank as leader in RUDF). So, to go along with what I assumed was a joke, I was like “okay I'll spy on the group and join FEAR). It turns out Lavapig was seriously trying to do a “loyalty check”, so I got exiled from there and everyone in the group (bar TheExplosion101) joined onto a hate wagon. This was in 2010, either November or December (I remember this because my game at the time was a red-and-green sword fight).
That actually left a hole. I felt I needed a new clan, and I really liked being in RUDF. I had joined RAT on an alt to “spy” on them (because I thought this was actually helpful to the group in some way at the time). My first visit to fort Aquarius on the account was wonderful, I received a warm welcome from the RAT members there and we held off all the raiders. So that brought me to RAT, which is probably my favourite superclan of them all. I had a few thousand forum posts at this time, and after reading all the RAT guides and such, I think I migrated to C&G, others can spot-check the time if they know when I joined, this would be late-10 or relatively early-11.
=== Arrival to C&G === So when I came here I already had some experience with the forum sections of RT and OT. In order to fit in, I just kind of posted on threads where I felt it appropriate. I think I was a conscript in RAT at the time. However, I was over-active the first week and got to Supervisor in a few days. I also met my favourite RAT admiral, HippieVanz through the forums, and we kind of became friends for a bit, but like most other people I've fallen out of contact through them.
So for the most part my starting days in C&G were overshadowed in my mind with being loyal to RAT and such.
=== My Time in RAT === I think the time that I actually started to be accepted in C&G was when the RAT-VAK war was going on. I started out fairly strong in this, but after a few weeks I realized that it was a horrible war, so thus my activity in RAT declined. Erm, I don't remember if RAT-VAK started before or after Immortals, but I do remember Immortals boosting my activity rate in the clan. I'm not that great of a fighter, but I got to the third or fourth rank in it. Afterward, TDFall met me in one of my games (I don't remember why he had followed me), and naturally TDFall's stalkers came. We soon had a server of ~6, so we did a 3v3 battle. I guess he liked the way I led my team or something, because after that I got promoted to Overseer in iRAT (although I think it was called Commander at that time? I don't remember for sure). A week or two went by and afterward I saw the others declining in apparent activity. I tried my best to keep active, personally going to around three matches a day. When Croze became the leader, he noticed my activity, and made me the 2iC. Afterward, the mass supervisor demotions took place, and I went back to Conscript in the main division. For quite some time, I held the title of “Immortal Commander/Conscript”. One of the admirals had noticed that this was strange, so I went up to Soldier, but didn't regain the title of Supervisor for some time. Then CT got iRAT (as he should have), and I was demoted down to a 7th Degree, as I'm pretty sure D4/CT had no idea who I was and I think the Hrs were all admirals and one marshal afterward. For about a week, I got messages from people asking me to help them get in the group, but since CT took away exile powers/group acceptance from the 7th Degrees, I couldn't properly handle 1st-Degree challenges.
Then Moolego came along. I believe I viewed every single one of his matches up until 6th Degree, and then he challenged me. Croze watched. I didn't want to pick LinkedRockets, because that fight would take too long (although I might have won if I did), nor did I want to pick swords (as I knew he was good at them), so I chose the x-101st original CARRRRBIIIINE (it was around this fad's time in C&G with Luna, iirc). I lost. And that is where my spiral descent in RAT began. None of the other 7th Degrees were active in Immortals, and I wasn't going to call anything on them for a rank. I'm sure they deserved it. I started to lose activity in RAT, and conceded whenever I was challenged for my rank, up until I was exiled from Immortals for “losing” a 1st-Degree challenge.
Because of that, my time was more dedicated to the forums, and I got to know everyone here better. Anyway, back to the RAT-VAK war. Like I said, I was fairly inactive during that, because I didn't like it at all. I advocated against it on the forums, and flamed both the RAT and VAK members that were acting like idiots every day.
=== Whenever that was – Present === So the RAT/VAK war finally ended after CT made that thread about the final battle and they agreed on a draw to the war, to the content of 3-4 posters urging CT to make that decision after Vaktus offered it. I became more interested in C&G as all of that started to decline, so I participated in all of the fads that came along, except for Lunarian. For the most part, I stayed away from it, made a few posts on both sides of the arguments. Eventually figured out who Lunarian was, and moved on. Then some other stuff happened that I don't really remember. I purposely chose to stay a conscript in RAT a few times after being promoted for something or another, but I don't remember much. There was also that timeframe where I started to talk to Dekord. And the auto-hate I made on all of Wakbob's threads. And whatever else you guys know me/hate me for. More recently, I made a few clan guides from my limited knowledge of leading, and I've been posting on the forums (obviously).
So yay that part is over, moving on to the rest of the thread.
=== People List === I'm keeping this part short. These are people that I've either developed a friendship with or respect the most, to the extent that people respect each other on an online site for kids. Yes, I may have forgotten a few, but I'd prefer if all the responses to this thread weren't along the lines of “omg u 4got me” (although now that almost guarantees one response will be exactly the quoted words). Rocker32703 (you all don't know him, but he showed me the game. He's also a pretty good friend irl.) The13thHippie LunaScamander Shadowluigi64 (HEY LOOK I SPELLED YOUR NAME RIGHT)
Honourable Mentions: Catlord5 Paintballzombiedude Basalisk
=== The Future === C&G: I'm going to make an attempt to slow down my posts. A lot of what I've said/done recently has done nothing for the community, and I have gotten a lot more disrespect from 17-20k than from the first 17k combined. I'll still be active, but my responses will hopefully be on-topic and relevant. I might become one of those “ghost” forum users who posts occasionally but reads everything. If my attempt succeeds, I will be able to restrain myself from what this forum considers “trolling” and return to being genuine.
^This may not hold, however, as my personality will probably want to jump out and make me act stupid at some point in time.
Clans: I've made large threads on it before, so I'm not going to repeat it again. I don't think large clans matter if the members aren't active. I'm not planning on joining any of the superclans. I am currently in RAT, but am fairly inactive. If I do come back to large clans, it will be in RAT. WIJ is good too, but I have more history and memories with RAT. For the most part, I will be in small clans. However, I also don't have all the time in the world to participate in those either. I think I may end up just running my own little BrickBattle group going on into the future of the clan world, bringing BrickBattles with me and anyone who chooses to join. The clan, for the most part, will probably be a social group that does practice raids and the likes for fun, as we would only go to war with another BrickBattle clan after we grow, which (to my knowledge), doesn't exist. I wish you all good luck in your pursuits.
=== Outro === The first 20,000 were fun, and there are more to follow. Stay classy* C&G.
*we have almost no class, but most of us accept that.

I read every bit of this, bro.
Can't say our histories are at all similar, but hey, how different can they be in the grand scheme of things.
Congrats on the 20k. I leave you with these words:
Don't stress over lasagna. |
