Not sure, though. I couldn't control most of it.

| Nobody knows what a lucid dream is? It's where you are dreaming and you see yourself in bed sleeping. |

| You don't actually have to see yourself. You can control them to do anything. When I actually get to control them well enough, I'm going to try to fly. |

I've had only one lucid dream.
One.
And I was being pushed off the Empire State Building, and as I was about to hit the ground, I started to fly.
Then I woke up because of too much excitement. |

@lumph
I really haven't had the ability to control it that much yet, as I just started it. And I mean that was my first night.
First, lye down in your bed. Lay on your back, arms at your side, and don't move. Close your eyes, and say "100. I'm lucid dreaming. 99. I'm lucid dreaming." etc, until you reach 1. During the counting, your body might itch or twitch or want to move. Do NOT do any movement at all. This will ruin it. Keep counting until you realize you're dreaming or something. It takes like, 3 days to 3 weeks to start doing it regularly. |

Actually, lucid dreams are vivid states of dream consciousness in which the dreamer has some control or influence on what occurs during the state. There is an increase in brain frequency from the parietal lobes (the area of coordination in your brain), which is why the dream might seem vivid.

| What I found interesting was how you get more energy during the day when you lucid dream than when you don't. I thought that it would be the opposite. |

| That is a major side effect of being more active in a conscious state, while your physical body is in hibernation. With more going on in your mind simultaneously why your physical self rests - you wake up without a sense of mental disorientation. |

No that is quite false according to studies done by the IJP (International Journal of Psychophysiology)
Spicy food simply elevates the body temperature and causes more disruptions in sleep than elevations. However, simpler foods can cause the metabolism to work faster during sleep, which _does_ increase the possibility for dreams in general.

Marcin,
No I cannot say that I have - to a larger extent. There have been times where, feeling as thought he dream were real, I was able to perform certain feats.
But that tends to relate to schizophrenia.
