[1] Introduction [1.1] Ranks [1.2] Promotion System [1.3] How to gain TP's. [1.4] How to lose TP's. [1.5] Hawks & Doves
[1] [=-Introduction-=]
Welcome to the Tactical Roblox Forces promotion manual. In this manual, I will explain the ways to achieve a promotion, the ranks, the promotion system, and most importantly how the group works.
[1.1] [=-Ranks-=]
As you can see, all members [ except me, the Commander.] starts off as an Ensign. In this section, I will explain the benefits of obtaining that rank and the responsibilities of that specific rank.
Ensign - To achieve this, you just have to join the group. Ensigns have no major responsibilities except to be active, loyal and follow orders. The benefits you will acquire by being an Ensign is an access to wear our uniforms, talk on the group wall, and an access to our facilities.
Corporal - If you have reached this far, good job! You have attended an event and a HR has recommended you for a promotion. The responsibilities of a Corporal is to befriend others, fight on the front lines, be active, and follow orders. The benefits of being a Corporal is you now are accepted as an experienced soldier, and you are allowed to join monthly events such as contests, tournaments, and more!
Sergeant - The responsibilities of a Sergeant is to act mature, loyal and also solve situations which are minor [quarrelling, teamkilling etc.]. The benefits of a Sergeant are you are now privileged to help command low ranks along with Lieutenants and Officers, if a HR is not present in that place/server, and you are now allowed to join any divisions of TRF.
Lieutenants - The responsibilities of a Lieutenant are to advise low ranks [how to fight, or how to solve minor situations etc.], aid in tough situations such as raiding and defending bases, and to help Officers in hosting events. The benefits of being a Lieutenant are you are at this stage, allowed to command lower ranks along with Officers when a HR is not present.
Officers - At this rank, you are at the border line of becoming a HR. The responsibilities of an Officer is to command and host events [raids, defences, trainings] and to make the group as active, skilled, and respectful as possible. They are also allowed to accept group join requests if needed. The benefits of an Officer is you are now open to be chosen as an Operative to any Captain or Generals.
Operative - Congratulations! You have been chosen by a Captain or a General as their Operative. As an Operative, you will be apprenticed by your Captain/General in one of the two paths into becoming a HR; Hawks or Doves [ explained in {1.6} ]. Your Captain/General will choose the path which suits you best. The responsibilities of becoming an Operative is to control Officers, and to help solve major problems [ Admin Attacks, unfair demotions etc. ]. The benefits of becoming an Operative are you are now eligible to become a HR in any TRF divisions, and you can shout events instead of posting on the wall.
Captain - The responsibilities of becoming a Captain will include keeping the clan active, host massive raids and defences, and to solve major problems. The benefits of being a Captain are you are allowed to host weekly meetings, allowed to join monthly HR meetings, and create official TRF places.
General - The responsibilities of a General include from being active to prevent AA's from happening. The benefits of a General are being from able to create official divisions of TRF and promoting deserving individuals.
Commander - Keeping the group active, prevent AA's, manage alliances and declarations of war.
[1.2] [=-Promotion System-=]
Clans are booming with technology everywhere around ROBLOX, and we decided to prevent any lazy individuals from being top, we have came up with the idea of "Tactical Points". Tactical Points are credits earned by any event, raids, defences, or trainings, and are given by only Captains or above. To reach a certain rank, you need a specific amount of TP. And if you have reached that rank, your TP will reset back to 0. Here are the amounts of TP to reach a certain rank:
Ensign - 0 TP Corporal - 5 TP Sergeant - 10 TP Lieutenant - 20 TP Officer - 40 TP
For Operatives and above, you need to be chosen by a Captain or above. We record your amount of TP by a spreadsheet made by the Commander. After every event, if a HR finds a deserving individual, he will send a PM to TRFPromotions indicating the person, the amount given to that person, and why. TRFPromotions will then add the credits earned to the spreadsheet and saves.
[1.3] [=-How to gain TP's?-=]
Tactical Points are earned by either attending TRF events, or by useful inputting in meetings, or by tech. I have estimated how much each TP is given for each event:
Raids/Defences - 0 to 3 Useful input in meetings - 0 to 2 Participating in contests - 0 to 2 Winning contests - 1 to 3 [ If you win a contest, you do not get TP for participating. ] Trainings - 0 to 4 Giving approved tech - 1 to 5 Befriending others and helping people - 1 or 2 Help gain an alliance - 0 - 3 Advertising - 0 to 3
[1.4] [ =-How to lose TP's?-=]
Tactical Points are lost if you either disobey rules and orders, being disrespectful, and disloyal. I have estimated how much each TP is taken for each event:
Being inactive and disrespectful - 1 to 3 Disobeying rules and orders - 1 to 2 Discourage comrades - 1 to 4 Admin attacking - 5 to 20 [ If HR's and I disagree, immediate exile. ] Starting flame wars and rebellions in TRF - 4 to 10 Ruin TRF's reputation - 1 to 5 Spamming - 1 to 2
[1.5] [=-Hawks & Doves-=]
As you attain the rank of Operative, your Captain [or above] will set you onto one of the two different pathways; Hawks or Doves. This is to ensure each HR has a responsibility to do and what to achieve.
The term "Hawks & Doves" was used by America during the Cold War to separate on who wants peace, or who wanted warfare. Hawks are HR's that will want warfare. Their responsibility is to advise on war declarations, train troops, and acquire tech. The Operatives who are chosen to this path will learn Leadership on the battlefield, as well as hosting trainings for troops. In addition, Captains [ or above ] can also teach them advanced warfare such as flying a plane effectively, driving vehicles effectively, and advanced gun and sword fighting.
As for Doves, Doves are a sign of peace. Their responsibility is to ensure activity and maintain stronger bonds with our allies. They are also responsible for the facilities made for either meetings, trainings, or bases. Operatives that are chosen in this path will learn to host weekly meetings, diplomacy, and leadership through example. In addition, Captains [or above] can also teach these newly Operatives on how to build/script. |

| I believe that I am going to be a proficient dove although I could have been either a Hawk or a Dove! I hope TRF expands and become more proficient with me as a Dove.... Weekly education meeting at my place! We talk about how to recruit, behavior during raids, and how to stay active and be present during important group events. GO TRF! :) |
