Any number divided by zero = infinite.
You can also get to infinity by counting one extra number (A made up number) within the base 10 count, so it would be like...
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, (star)
In base count of 10, (star) = Infinity. |

| Dividing by 0 is, by definition, an undefined operation. That is, it's a nonsensical question that doesn't have an answer. It doesn't mean that we don't know or that it's something we can't comprehend. |

The existence of an infinite set is implied by the Axiom of Infinity. This is one of the axioms of Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory, which is the most common foundation of mathematics. Since it is an axiom, it cannot be proven.
If we rejected infinite sets, then we could not speak of the set of all natural numbers (1,2,3,etc), since every finite set of natural numbers has a largest member, but there is no largest natural number.

| Infinity does not exist because nothing is forever. ex. people say there are an infinite amount of stars, however this is not true because stars keep dying and stars are 'born' therefore there must be a set amount. |
