Hey all! Me and Wandrew9 ( He's banned, so he's wandrew9isbanned ) are doing this awesome project on LDing. Here's what it's about.
Basically, me and Wandrew are doing a project that we will combine techniques and do different stuff to test it out and we'll post what we're planning for the night. We'll record our results for the next day. This is to figure out what is best for a beginner, because none of us have had our first LD since attempting so we are going to combine some techniques we heard about.
Our plan for the night of March 29 and morning of March 30th: Before we go to bed, AJ will eat an egg and 10 tablespoons of peanut butter. Wandrew will eat 30 tables of peanut butter because he ran out of eggs OTL.
We set our alarms for 5:00. When we wake up, we strictly stay in bed in a drowsy phase. We will practice SILD and FILD. We will both try and find the different colors in our eyes, scan for twitches or any senses on our body, and focus on that high pitched beeping noise which you always hear in a quiet house, WHILE moving our fingers up and down like playing a piano. This is for a maximum affect of both of the techniques because they both require being tired.
We will post tomorrow for our results.
Interested in our project? Post here to say if you want to join in our technique combining project and you can also post your results. We will let you know the technique for the night, and you can suggest what we will do.
NOTE: We strictly forbid WILD from this technique combining. It is its own technique that takes a lot of time to perfect and it is not for beginners, and the basis of this thread is to find a maximum effect for beginners like us. It is hard to combine something with WILD due to the relaxed state you have to be in. |

The piano fingers technique seems counter productive...
You're keeping your body awake while trying to go to sleep with a hyper aware mind? That seems silly, but okay.
Make sure that you get plenty of sunlight the day you attempt it. xD |

| Actually, that is called SILD and is a technique with a very high success rate. And FILD also has a high success rate, both not fully established as REAL techniques but they don't require real relaxation as WILD and all the others do. |

I want to know WHY they have a high success rate though, it doesn't seem like it would work.
Especially if the person attempting the technique has never played the piano before. |

@Row
THe FILD works by keeping your mind awake while going to sleep. So once after 5-30 seconds your in a dream.
Its really quite simple. |

That's how most techniques works.
I just don't see how it is possible to fall asleep while moving your fingers. You have to stop them eventually, and it would keep the body awake, and not as much the mind. It seems like something you'd do to induce sleep walking. |

You do it after like 3-5 hours of sleep. To the point where you'll fall asleep in like 5 seconds. You do stop moving your fingers, but you continue it in your dream because you don't realise you fell asleep. You do a reality check straight afterwards. Most of the time it works and your lucid. |

@Wandrew, ah, I'd join, since I haven't had a lucid dream yet myself, but I doubt that technique would work for me.
I find myself doing things randomly irl. Such as moving my fingers like that, not really out of boredom, but just subconsciously. So I already dismiss things like that.
I'd be forced to attempt a different type of induction. ;p (Also, I found some [ Content Deleted ] stuff when I looked up SILD and FILD on my own, so I'm completely in the dark about what kind of technique these are. xD) |

Oohh, well they're fine techniques.
Do reality checks in real life, do then 5 times a day like: Pinch you noes and see if you can breath Jump and see if youre defying gravity Look in the mirror and see if its you Count your fingers Try and look at your clothes and see if you even own them
And keep a dream journal and write down all your dreams. Try this technique tonight. :) Wake up at 5 am and you'll instantly fall back asleep but just fall back asleep moving your finger |

We're not meeting in a dream. I don't know what youre talking about.
We're just all trying a technique to lucid dream. |

In other news, how far are you planning to go with this group?
I mean, after you both have obtained Lucidity at least three times, will you simply just drop the group after making a few guides on how you did it, or will you carry on to the land of experimentation? |

This is an experiment like group. ONce we did all combinations of supplements, and techniques, it'll be a guide for beginners and things to mix together for good results.
