| in the last few weeks, i've seen a lot of users (and even groups) dedicated to advertising their stuff with a massive bid which makes the ad have TONS of impressions, and blocks ads by people who have bid less tix. the first users i've seen "taking over" the ad system are peaspod and speedyseat. it's annoying to have over half of the ads leading to the same game or group. This way of taking over is a really stupid thing, and it should be stopped. like limiting the bid to, for example, 300 tix. then, if someone bid 100 on their ad, there won't be someone bidding 10,000 tix and blocking everyone else's ads but the ones of someone who bid around 5,000tx, or more. The ad war is nonsense and annoys other players who want to advertise their games. |

| That's the correct way to advertise. Sure, you might not get as many tickets back, but it's still the perfect way to get your game noticed. |

for those of you who are sick and tired of the ad war, here's a tip:
use firefox or chrome. right-click the ad. select "inspect element" select the ad's code, right-click it and select edit as HTML delete it. the ad should dissapear.
NOTE: it will be back when you refresh.if you know scripting (HTML) you can make an extension that automatically deletes ads.
problem, peaspod? |

NOTE 2:in firefox, double-click all the different parts of the code instead of right-clicking.
