| I'm making a vehicle rotate and I want to use CFrame instead of BodyGyro and BodyPosition, but when I try to set a new cframe eg: part.CFrame = part.CFrame*CFrame.Angles(.2,0,0), it goes to the new position and then smoothly rotates back to its original position. How do I make it set to the new position? |

I would use a while loop.

So the problem of the part re-calibrating itself is not fixable? (The part has other parts welded to it, it's just the "engine" of the vehicle) Why isn't it staying at the new CFrame? |

| Is this happening because of the weld C0's and C1's? Are they causing it to go back to original position? |

| I'm trying to rotate a part and the parts welded to it with a CFrame on the "engine" or "base" part, but after I set the new CFrame, it smoothly goes back to its original rotation/position. |

| No, not a tool, a vehicle, but good job repeating your question. |

"I'm making a vehicle rotate" Literally the first words of this thread The vehicle is rotating in game time, I'm not trying to statically rotate a vehicle in studio. |

I don't need a tool for offline editing or a script to copy from I would like an explanation of why setting a new CFrame on a welded set of parts does not keep them at the new CFrame during server interactions. I have a feeling it has to do with the C0 and C1 settings of the welds, but I can't custom set those each time, it would be too laggy. It also auto-corrects and goes back original position even though the part is anchored. |

| Yes, they are all anchored except the basepart, although I just found on testing, now the basepart rotates and moves position but the rest of the vehicle stays behind. |

| Scratch that, the rest of the vehicle updates to the new cframe if I do a quick Unanchor and then re-anchor the basepart |
