| "Isabel," I reply to Myles, looking at him from over my shoulder and wondering why I seemed to be so popular for sitting away from the major group. |

((Seeya.)
Myles gave Tom's hand a firm shake, before releasing it. He attempted to lean back, only to pause. With a grunt, he attempted again. Looking down, Myles noted the bolted state of the chairs. "Sonuvva... What the Hell do they think we're gonna do, steal their chairs?" he offered, a small joke that was followed by another chuckle. "Ah well..." he trailed off. 'When's this thing gonna start?' he wondered to himself. |

| Isabel smirks at his reaction to the chairs and she shrugs. "I'm assuming they think we'll have the urge to throw things at each other... Also, there's three scientists in the other room talking rather lowly about something that I can't hear because of how thick the wall is," she explains, not realizing that no one else in the room even knew that there were scientists in the other room. |

| "Ey, I don't wanna go snooping on people, especially since I just met you guys. Now if ya do it anyway, my lips are sealed, but don't say I didn't warn ya when you get caught." Myles stated firmly, raising a hand to point at Chris. |

Isabel's eyes glaze over slightly and she starts to repeatedly tap her middle finger on her thigh. The rhythm stayed the same speed and soon that's all she can seem to hear, then it fades slightly and the scientists' conversation is fairly clear.
"Has the train arrived yet?" "It'll be here soon." "What about the control center? Have they prepared everything for the dome?" "They're still calibrating a few tweaks for the creatures, but other than that they've completely everything that we've signed them for." "Are their enough volunteers for this?" "We've gotten more than we could have hoped for since this is just an experiment." "I suppose it's time that we go and brief them before the train arrives." "Agreed."
Isabel blinks and sits up straighter suddenly and stops tapping her finger. "They're coming." The door opens and the three scientists file out of the back room to stand in front of the group. |

"We appreciate you all coming today to volunteer for our project. As you all know, our project will be executed within a dome outside the area. Soon a train will be here to take you all to the dome where we will begin the project." "To start, we must ask that you drop all electronic devices in the basket left of me and all other objects that you have with you currently in the basket on my right. You may do this when you all leave for the train, so please stay seated at this current time." "Within the dome you will have to learn survival skills and teamwork." "It will be harsh and cruel. It was be like any life situation with disease, temperature drops, and weather chaos." A sickening lock is sounded when a bolt slides into place and it causes everyone to look at the large door we all walked through, seeing it being sealed off. "We will give a few of you an experimental dr.ug and then we may all proceed to the train." The scientists go around and give about a third of the group shots before we begin to file past the baskets to rid ourselves of our inventory. |

| Myles watched as the shots were administered with a raised eyebrow. That wasn't mentioned, as far as he knew. Then again, he wasn't one to read entire contracts. Shrugging, Myles stepped up to the basket, placing in his phone and his watch. Stepping to the next basket, Myles looked through his wallet, before dropping it in. |

| Isabel drops her phone in the basket and then drops a few pens and her wallet in the other just like the rest of the people. She continues on into the backroom and down a hallway, squinting at the sudden sunlight that poured into the hallway and that's when she stops. There was a train alright... But it was nothing like any train that we were used to. She takes another step forward to peer around a corner and looks at the tracks, not being able to see the end of the train. "This is way over our heads..." she mutters to herself, taking in the iron build of the train and not seeing any wheels on it, but belt inlays that gave off electrical sparks every now and then. |

"May not be safe... But it's extremely well thought out," she mutters, crouching down and looking at the track more closely, but from a safe distance. "I'm guessing that they have a rubber layer in the walls to detract the electrical current from reaching us on the inside, but the current here put to motion would create a significant amount of kinetic energy. It's brilliant actually. Granted, it's a wonderful idea if we all want to combust if something goes wrong on the way there." Isabel looks up when a scientist approaches her and she stands slowly. "You're quite intelligent, no? This train can reach up to 200 mph if set on the right course, but inside the train itself, you won't be able to tell the difference." Isabel makes an impressed expression and then walks around the scientist to get aboard the train with the others.
Inside the train, there were other scientists that were leading people into other train cars to filter out the space. That's when she noticed that one of the scientists has a mask breather on and the people he was leading were the ones who received shots. "That can't possibly be a good thing," she mumbles before actually looking at the inside of the train car. The walls definitely didn't look like iron, but not rubber either. It looked like the inside of a 5-star hotel room and Isabel was getting to the point that her curiosity and suspicion were making her sick. Everything seemed so peculiar and she wasn't quite sure as to why there was the sudden treatment. The scientists had moved the people to the point that there were about four people to a car and Isabel had stayed in the first one. She cringes when a static pitch suddenly turns on and then it fades when a man starts to speak on the intercom. "I'd advise you all to take a seat or hold onto something since it's rather rough when we get moving." He wasn't kidding. Most of us didn't have time to react when the train lurches into motion, literally shoving us off of our feet and onto the floor or into whatever we happened to be standing by. |

| Myles listened to Isabel silently, looking to the Scientist as he approached. He would only offer the occasional 'oh?' or 'hm' during the explanation. He was never one to care about such details, and so he settled for politely listening. A few minutes later, inside the train, Myles gave a shout as the train lurched forth, managing to keep on his feet after a heavy stumble. "What happened to, I dunno, seat belts?" he questioned, mostly to himself, as he took a proper seat. |

| "That's a good question," Isabel grumbles as she picks herself up by putting her weight on a chair she happened to fall next to. "At least it's not lurching now, still makes me wonder how long this trip will be if this train has the capability of going 200 mph. Who would need it to go that fast anyway?" She was kind of talking to herself while she stood up, but it didn't necessarily matter to her. She slumps into a chair and sits in it sideways so her feet hang over the edge of the arm. |

| Myles shrugged, draping his arm along the backs of several seats as he slumped into his own. He looked to Isabel, raising an eyebrow. "So, where ya from?" he asked after a few moments of silence. He hated silence with a burning passion. |

| "Believe it or not, I came from Siberia. Sadly, I've been here for quite a few years so I've lost my accent. And you?" she questions, laying her head back so her neck curved over the other arm of the chair. |

| Isabel raises an eyebrow at him for a moment before going back to looking at the ceiling, seeing the lights were placed inside a glass type case. "Here's a question... Why did you decide to volunteer for this?" |

| Myles looked up as well, scratching his beard. After a few moments of thinking with his eyebrows furrowed, he shrugged. "I thought it'd be interesting, hangin' out with a bunch of strangers and surviving out in the wild, possibly with my bare hands." he replied, lifting his large fists and shaking them for emphasis. "Heh, who knows, I might even get to see a guy go crazy. Ya' never know." he added, shrugging again. He looked back down, smirking at Isabel. "You?" |

| She smiles and chuckles to herself at his answer. "For me it's one of those 'I've got nothing to lose' sort of things. Plus, I was never one to get out and do something productive, so I feel like I'll actually be a part of something interesting..." That's when she suddenly started thinking about what he actually said. "Crazy, eh...?" She sits up instantly and looks at him curiously. "What if those shots will alter their humanity or something? They said survival and so maybe that's part of it. What if we actually have to kill others to survive in this dome?" |

| Myles paused to think about this sudden suggestion, before waving it off. "That wouldn't exactly be ethical, and I can't really think of a reason why they'd mess up their own experiment like that." he replied, before thinking for another few moments." Although, I do have questions about what those shots WERE for." he added hesitantly. |
