I just got a foreign shiny ditto and bred it with my lilipup, but I didn't get a shiny lilipup? Are the chances of getting a shiny the same with a shiny ditto?

Shinies are incredibly rare. Even if an egg's parent is a shiny, there's a good chance the egg won't be.

You'll need a foreign shiny ditto and a foreign shiny lillipup if you want a better chance of a shiny egg.

Technically, all you need to do is get a foriegn Pokemon and breed it with a native Pokemon, shiny or not. You have a higher chance of getting the shiny Pokemon.
