not surprised. In my school at least 1/4 of the kids do not care about knowledge. They
There will always be idiots who don't care, I wouldn't take them seriously. |

| I got my brother suspended by stuffing drugs in his locker. He got suspended for the rest of the school year. Then he had to repeat that grade. |

At my school it is usually drug-related expulsions. You also get the odd fight which goes a step too far.
If you ask me, it should be the ones who are repeatedly annoying within classes and stuff who get expelled, rather than the people who fight one another to solve a problem. |

I've been suspended countless times for not standing for the American Pledge of Allegiance, but I've since then been able to argue strongly enough to get out of it.
With this kid yelling an offensive statement like that over the intercom, it might be common sense to suspend him. I'll tell you why. There are laws in some places that students can't say anything that is strongly opinionated or neglecting a religion/culture using school equipment. However, they can talk about it all they want using just their voices and maybe in writing. Freedom of speech does not necessarily give complete freedom to say anything you want, whenever you want, using what you want, to who you want to say it to. Some might disagree, and I'm "iffy" on it, as well. With me not standing for the Pledge, some kids might be like, "That's just as offensive, and he should be suspended!" Well, I didn't go on the intercom and tell everyone that they, too, shouldn't stand. I know that I'm not required to do it, but my school system is very twisted. As I see it, this is not a black or white issue. There's a huge grey area. |

| Yeah. I live in the America, the United states. I am patriotic, as most, but don't gloat about the fact that I live in it. Also, thepit, good. The dumb idiot deserved it! I hate racism, racism, nationalism, and religious beliefs all start wars. My country (The united states) has been in war for 10 years with Afghanistan for that reason |

>If you won't honor America, then get the hell out.
--And that's the attitude that my school system had against me.
1. I'm not even American.
2. I don't feel the need to worship a piece of fabric that hangs on the wall every morning.
3. I'm certainly not patriotic towards any nation. (Just because I'm not "patriotic" doesn't mean that I despise a country. I just don't want to feel like I'm "following" it mindlessly.)
4. I don't see how worshiping this fabric honors America.
5. It's not a respect issue. I respect people for their individual person, not for being part of some group or piece of land with imaginary lines drawn around it. If I want to respect someone, I'm not going to make a pledge or anthem for them and recite them repeatedly. |
