I am making a zombie tycoon from scratch, and while I got a basic map, I am stuck with how I can make the zombies spawn. I thought about doing something similar, to Shaakra's, making them raise from the ground, walking into the map from the top of the cliffs, but I have no idea which idea is the most appealing.


Long story short, I need ideas and recommendations on how the spawns should spawn into the map.

I have no problem with cloning them into workspace and all that, what I'm curious about is how to make them spawn in the most awesome way possible. For instance, Shaakra had them come from a cave to the underworld (or something like that) instead of just appearing in random spots.

Currently, mine will raise up from the ground in random locations, however I was looking forward to more "interesting" effects. Unfortunately, I have had trouble thinking of a good method, preferably somewhat simple as well.

I can agree with that, however even since I learned to script (around three years ago), there has been some difficulties in that area. That's why I turned to here, to get some ideas or support for such things :P

The zombies should spawn from a small laboratory that is half covered in mud, etc. etc.

Dr, that's a good idea. But...I think Daman should make a mini facility for zombie's to spawn and escape through the doors. The facility should be covered with green slime and there should be a skybox with lightning. =D

xP I only looked at the showcase, but your lack of a thumbnail and anything other than stamper tool turns players away right off the spot.

Make gravestones, and the zombies can have an animation for clawing their way out of the dirt before the go on their way, eating brains as they wish.

Actualy, I've been doing scripting for about a year and a half, and I think I know how to help you.

Right now, i'm in my C-Framing lessons, so, this might be hard for you.

Go to ROBLOX's models, grab the zombie, decorate him up, change the damage in his arms, take the infection script off. And voila! It's that simple!

Already made the zombies (from scratch I may add ;D), but thanks anyways :o

@banshee7
An animation for clawing their way out seems a little bit difficult (possible, but difficult), but I had never thought of using gravestones. I may just do that, thanks :D

A building where they come out of? Well, currently the map is just large cliff walls surrounding the area (simple, and it works, so why not), so a laboratory or facility seems a bit out of place...
