Why is the subject of violence so accepted in society while the subject of se/ /x considered so taboo?

Well, during the Paleolithic-Neolithic age, and even beyond that, humans were exposed to violence on a daily basis. However, the latter subject was done in private, out of eye.
I guess it's in our genes. |
