| I see it too. I presume it's just some anti-hack software stuff. Like when ROBLOX opens 3 new windows when you test solo. |

@nate, It's the first thing that appears in the output when you open a place. |

I'd like to think it's the probability that you aren't trying to take over the world.
It appears to hover around 70%, which is acceptable. |

| It might also be their math.random() going crazy. |

They are checking if they should start logging. It's just checking if math.random()>0.5 or something. Seriously, just pull up Fiddler when you join a game. It shows the entire logging.roblox.com script. |

math.randomseed((tick()*101027) % 101027) local r = math.random() print('logging probability', r) if r >= 0.01 then print('not logging') return end
What does it do really? What's the point? |

You want to know what it does?
It logs in approximately 1/100 cases. |

Think about the amount of people in a ROBLOX game at all times. That's a lot, right? They don't need all that information, so they only log 1/100 times |

If one million people use Studio every day, they will have to read approximately 1000 logged messages.
I've never seen anything other than "not logging".

They don't log when using studio (under normal conditions) The code is engineered to log only in an actual ROBLOX game. Thus, they check to make sure the PlaceId is non-zero and that there is a NetworkPeer in the game. |
