As you read this, please understand that this is not based off of clan warfare. It is a story, and in case you do not know the history behind the name NexGen Aeronautics, it comes from a book I am currently in the process writing. The following story, occurs some point in the near future, and is based off events factual and fictional.
Date: May 14, 2020 Location: NexGen Aeronautics World Headquarters, Dallas, TX.
The crisp outline of a glass-faceted building became visible through the tinted-black windows of the armored Mercedes Benz. The limousine, and its four armored black Escalade escorts slowly and methodically navigated the streets of downtown Dallas. The sole passenger inside the limo, slowly pondered everything that had changed in the last decade, and before. Oddly enough, today he only thought about the skyline. It was only fitting that an aerospace corporation be based near one of the largest airports in the world, and footsteps away from the main hub of one of the largest airlines in the world, American Airlines. The skyline, once dominated by the Bank of America tower, now claimed one of the largest behemoth structures in the world. A tower, that belonged to the third-largest corporation in the world asset-wise, and the most powerful considering its vast wealth and military assets. This one corporation, that had changed the face of aerospace, and the way the world thinks about war, was NexGen Aeronautics. And, best of all, NexGen Aeronautics belonged to him. As he closed his thoughts, the convoy came to a small halt at the NGA World Headquarters plaza, dominated by the 100+ floor NGA tower. As he closed his thoughts, one of his guard detail officers opened the door, and guided him out. Twenty bodyguards lined the small walkway from the driveway, to the clear glass doors of the headquarters. Uzis, Glocks, Berettas, MP5s, M16s, were all present on the members of the guard detail. The automatic firearms that they brandished, were one more sign of power, and ability to lobby politicians, police chiefs, and anyone to their cause. The detail closed around him, as he slowly traversed the distance to the walkway, and casually pushed opened the doors of the lobby. At that moment, the lobby fell into an eerie silence, broken only by the clip-clops of polished dress shoes. Two aides broke through the phalanx, and ambushed the CEO before he had even made 10 steps. For the moment, he waved off the aides, and continued the silence of the room. Today, he had something special prepared, and one of his many aides brought a glass of champagne. Tapping the glass, he rose it to the sky, and yelled words that only one in an ultimate position of power could concieveably yell. “Gentlemen, today is our day. Two hours from now, the most powerful man in the world, President Anderson, will arrive to speak on the great strides we have made over the past few years. Today, is the ultimate manifestation of how much we've gained, and how hard we've fought. We run the show today, and by god, it certainly will not be the last. Today, we show everyone, from Wall Street to Main Street, the face of business in America! Today, we show what innovation and ingenuity look like! Today, we show them the ultimate manifestation of pride in our work, and of superiority! Today, we show them the true face of NexGen Aeronautics!” The room filled with cheers, and a roar of applause coalescing from every facet of the room. However, by this point he had droned it out, and went back to his thoughts again. He continued walking towards the end of the lobby, where a private elevator waited for him. He slid his thumb onto the LCD panel outside the elevator, revealing an elevator lush with gold, and expensive wood carvings. He hit the button for floor 100, and waited for the elevator to slowly make its climb to the 100th floor. Above all, one thought filled his mind. Today, was going to be a good day. However, nothing would prepare anyone for what was to happen next. |

Thanks! This part is really just meant to be a backstory, all of part 1 will be. I do plan on using players after Chapter 2, and was just using this part that I had made for my book to test the waters. Thanks for the feedback!

The next part will be REALLY easy to visualize. At least, if you can think of explosions in your head.

I'm wondering as to keep the beginning plot that I already have for my novel, or diverge from it....
