You are the leader of a village of 5 people. You currently have 3 houses. Each villager specializes in something. See below for classes of villagers. You will pick and choose what a villager will specialize in, but until you do the villager will be capable of almost any task but not do well for any them. Your task is to guide your village to power. But there will always be an obstacle in your path of advancement. Barbarians will raid you, natural disaster will hit, and you are at the mercy of the gods, the admins.
Admins are: Revolvulation Dention1
Villager Classes are: Miner: Collects various resources from mountains.
Gatherer: Specializes in gathering food from bushes, farming, and livestock.
Hunter: Can fight in battles but not effectively, can hunt animals.
Fisherman: Can ferry a ship and catch fish.
Lumberer: Gathers wood better than a villager can.
Builder: Capable of building more complex structures.
Researcher: Only useful when you have a lab, used for inventing new things.
Slinger: Throws rocks at your opponent with a slingshot. No armor
Archer: Long-ranged shooter, armed with a bow and arrows. Light armor
Long-Bowman: Powerful Long-ranged shooter, wielding a composite bow and arrows. Light Armor
Crossbowman: This unit is powerful with a crossbow but takes much longer to attack than most. Light armor
Clubman: Melee fighter, armed with a club. Light armor
Militia: Melee classed fighter, uses a sword as a weapon and a shield. Medium Armor
Swordsman: Trading armor for attack power, the swordsman wields a long-sword and deals heavy hits. Light Armor
Scout: On horseback he can travel faster than most ground soldiers but has a weak attack and low armor. Light Armor
Many more classes will be added if I have forgotten some or if the game progresses far enough.
Buildings Hut: Shelters 2 villagers
Villa: Shelters 3 villagers
Two-Story House: Shelters 6 villagers
Store House: Keeps food and other supplies safe from floods, plagues, and Barbarians. Stores 50 of each
Barracks: You will obtain any soldier higher than Slinger and Militia from this building.
Dock: You will create more intricate boats and ships from here.
Fort: In the case of an attack villagers who don't fight will hide here. They can attack from inside.
Guard Tower: Gives any ranged units High Armor that are inside.
Lab: You can research new
Stables: You will train any soldiers on horseback here.
Altar: A small place to give sacrifices and pray to the gods for help.
Temple: A much larger place of worship of the gods, they will be more likely to grant your prayers from here.
More buildings will be added later in the game if I forgot any or if you advance far enough.
Ships Fisherman's boat: Lets a fisherman go out further to catch more fish, can also transport 2 other villagers somewhere else. Small Transport: Has a weak attack with the men on board attacking. Can hold up to 5 villagers. Galley: Has a stronger attack than a small transport but can hold 3 villagers. Transport Ship: Has the same attack as the Small Transport but can carry 8 villagers. Attack Boat: Has a stronger attack than the Galley and holds 3 villagers but this is a more costly boat for under-developed villages.
Rules The admins control the outcome of almost anything, no if ands or buts about it. No trolling It's helpful advice not flaming or the above rule Put Dark at the end of your cs if you have read this part of the rules You can destroy other player's villages and even barbarian villages Don't go crying if someone destroys your village, make another one Admins control the barbarians, but we will not make them overpowered, if we do let us know. Keep it clean, no swearing and such. Put Reign at the end of your cs if you have read the last part of the rules Admins control weather and natural disasters, we will try not to go too crazy. It takes time to make buildings and to travel, the admins will dictate how long it takes.
Region Desert: Your village is situated near a fairly large lake, mountains are in the distance and a small river connects the lake to an sea far off in the distance. There is plenty around the lake and fish can be seen every once in awhile. You cannot have farmers and lumber is limited. The trees around the lake also grow fruits, these are edible. The mountains are not far off though so you will have much Stone, Silver and Gold. The sea seems far off though so it may be awhile until you find another area to settle. You will be more susceptible to drought, disease, and sand storms.
Forest: Your village is on the edge of a thick forest, small mountains are nearby, they would not supply much materials. A shore of a sea is not too far. The land is fertile and farms will produce more and there is plenty of lumber. There have not been much sightings of fish though off the shore. The forest is filled with berries, some are potentially deadly though. There is a greater chance of animal attacks, raids, and wild fires here.
Mountain: Your village is the foot of a mountain. You will always have plenty of stone, gold, and silver but the land is hard beneath your feet and your crops will not give much food. The sea is not too far off though, many fish have been seen swimming around the waters and a forest is not too far off across the sea. There is a greater chance of flash flood, rock slides, and avalanches here.
Plains: Here your village is near the middle of a river which goes out from a desert and towards the sea. Crops will always give more food than anywhere else. There are sometimes fish going upstream towards the desert or downstream to the sea but not enough so the river will give much food. There is not much lumber nearby but there is a forest a little further down the river. There are also small mountains nearby but they will not hold much materials. Taller mountains are much further on. Your people will be more susceptible to raids, tornadoes, and laziness.
Archipelago: It is what the name suggests. Your village is on an island larger than the ones surrounding. There is a fairly large mountain nearby with a small forest surrounding it. The surrounding islands hold many other resources but you are far from the main land. The ground is not very fit for crops in most places but fish are abundant. Your people will be more susceptible to floods, tsunamis, and hurricanes here.
Alignment You will be able to choose your alignment meaning you can be good or evil
Good: You will be less susceptible to major natural disasters but they will still hit you. Barbarians will be more inclined to attack you. Gods may favor you in some cases. Ex. more wood from a tree more food from crops or more fish etc.
Evil: You will be punished more often for your evil deeds. Barbarians may be afraid of you so you will not be raided as often. You will be able to pray to the gods to strike enemies with a natural disaster. (Rare)
Diplomacy You will be able to trade with other players who are in different regions for their resources and yours. You will also be able to make alliances but from the time you start you are at war with each other.
Alliances You will be more attacked often if you form an alliance by barbarians if you are seen as a major threat to them.
CS Country Name: Leader's Name: Wood: 15 Stone: 15 Food: 15 (-5) Silver: 0 Gold: 0 Population: 5 Happiness: Content Under Current Disaster: No Good/Evil: Government: Army Size: None Region:
CS may be updated. Admins control resources, population and current disaster. Each villager will consume 1 food per turn (When you post again). You can not change the army size until you assign a villager to be a hunter or any other type of soldier. Population will increase every 2 turns by 1 every 3 villager. Ex. 3 villagers = +1 6 villagers = +2 The game will be updated if players advance far enough or if an issue is brought to our attention. You will have to keep your villagers happy meaning protecting them in the case of a disaster and having enough food for everyone to eat. If you don't keep them happy some villagers will start to rebel and turn on you, or some will simply desert the village. And one more thing to remember. The guides above should not limit what you have to offer, your creativity and ingenuity is encouraged here (Given you have the right tech to support the creation of the new building/unit/ship) |
