| I tried putting it in the character model which worked but scripts inside of the tool didn't run. |

BAM. FIXED.
So long as you don't manually force the player to move their current tool into their backpack, roblox will do the rest of the work for you. |

| When did they add Humanoid::EquipTool? I've just been putting it in their backpack, waiting a frame, then putting it in their character. But okay. |

I do this
t = Instance.new("Tool") Instance.new("Part",t).Name = "Handle" Instnace.new("Part",t).Name = "RobloxBuildTool" -- No clue if that's needed, I just use it because I do. :3 t.Equipped:connect(function() -- ST00F end) t.Parent = game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character |
