Amon Amarth, Deathstars, Nightwish, Cradle of Filth, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-- Amazing.
Currently, however, due to it being Saint Patricks day, Dropkick Murphys. :D

| If you want amazing with black metal, Cradle of filth definitely is not what you are looking for, things like Clair cassis, Xasthur, Gnaw their tongues or stuff like Trou noir would be amazing because they differ from what black metal mostly is. |

Cradle of Filths genre is debated. No one can decide if it's black metal or some other weird thing.
Regardless, Nightwish is still amazing. I love orchestras and metal and as I discovered, they go together. Fantastic.
And Deathstars. Industrial Metal. :D |

| Well yeah obviously they do because metal is influenced from Orchestras and Blues and such. But there is just so much better when it comes to metal mixed with symphonic elements. |

I have never delved into it. I just go with what I find. I never google new bands to listen to, I either hear a song first somewhere or one of my friends shows me something.
Infact, a lot of music I like isn't metal. Voltaire, Creature Feature, Dropkick Murphys, etc. I have just been listening to a lot of metal for some reason. |

Cradle of Filth is just referred to simply as "Extreme Metal"
and Nightwish is okay, but I can only tolerate a few of their songs.
I'm not a big fan of the opera-type singing for Symphonic Metal.

| It's better to search on your own, no one I know listens to what I do (at least black metal wise). Quite a few bands I listen to aren't metal, majority is metal though. The non metal things I listen to are The smiths, The cure, Joy division, Nervous gender, Algebra sui.cide, Suic.ide, R.E.M, P.orno for pyros, Plasmatics, Silver apples, etc. |

| I was never really all about metal, I used to have it equal but not so much anymore because of all the black metal I got into, there is just something about it that I like a lot. |

I started off kind of all about the power metal, which evolved to progressive metal and melodic death metal, which evolved into all the other types of metal
then some rock bands, then suddenly a lot of electronic stuff or even hip-hop
what

| I got into Electronic stuff later on, I always had a side that liked some Hip hop but not all. I also got into Grunge. |

I like a few grunge artists, but I'm not super into it or anything.
Mainly for me now it's like drum and bass, dubstep, aggrotech and then some assorted metal
I don't listen to a lot of rock actually

| Ehhhhhh I was never too big on Pop punk, the only Pop punk band that I cared for was Green day, at least their old stuff. I'm more of a Hardcore punk and slightly Crust punk person. |

pierce the veil and artist vs poet are really the only pop punk I like.
But some punk bands I like. Not a terrible lot, but still a few.

Thats cool.

Hell, have you ever even listened to these songs properly? I mean the lyrics themselves. Some lyrics to these songs are just...amazing. Some Nightwish songs tell little stories, Deathstars songs say things along the lines of not being oppressed by governments or organisations.
And Amon Amarth is about Vikings, that by itself is amazing to me being a lover of history. |

@Mini
People don't hate opinions, they just like to express theirs, it's fine if you find things like that amazing but there is much better, at least to me. |
