Ok...
Without Water, nothing else would exist.
Water is more powerful than anything...
Water takes hundreds of thousands of lives each year, with it's destructive force in nature.
Water allows crops to grow to keep us fed.
We are made up of 75% water. Without water you would die.
Water covers 3/4 of the surface of the Earth, and regulates temperatures. Without the water in the ice caps, we would die from the heat of the sun.
I have not drank any other substance rather than Water and Milk, save for wine at communion, and a soda every 3 months or so, for over 2 years. When I do drink an occasional soda, I'm usually extremely tired and nauseated for the better part of 4 hours.
Drinking anything other than water is an overall waste. It causes your body to work harder than it has to, and for less of what it needs. Everything in sods, except for the extreme sugars and calories, your body doesn't use, and has to filter.
If you drink water, your body uses everything, and it recycles it.
Don't think that anything is better than water. |

If by "energy", you mean that artificial sugar substitute they cram into it so they can claim "0G OF SUGAR!", then yes... it's "energy" all right.
Think of it this way. If you drink a Gatorade, it will crash you before it can do you benefit. By drinking water regularly, you won't have to seek any enhancements during a game. |

You honestly think that their managers care about their physical well-being? To an extent they do, but they don't give them Gatorade because it HELPS them.
They give it to them because they are paid by the crapload to have the do it.
It's all done for money, not for the athlete. |

You're such a moronic, arrogant fool who can not accept the truth.
Your bantering into nothingness, for when you try and make a point, it makes no sense.
Despite the fact that 99% of the time, athletes are drinking water in a Gatorade cup, you insist that they drink only Gatorade because it's better for your body than water, even though your own body is rejecting 80% of what the Gatorade is made up.
10% that your body uses is water. 5% is sugar, which doesn't help for anything in an athletic way. 5% is calories, which are short-lasting crash calories, which is not what an athlete needs.
No liquid substance on Earth can do any better for your body than Water, for Water is the only thing your body CAN use that is a liquid...

i love this. you can't 'crash' with sugar, that makes no sense. it's about as stupid as people saying they get hyper off of eating sweets/sugared products. that's just a way the mind thinks, but it isn't actually the sugar that gets you hyped.
CAFFEINE, ON THE OTHER HAND is what is put in energy drinks which actually hypes up a person. if you think otherwise, than you'd have to explain how people can die drinking too much of the stuff.

So Mr, Water must be yellow, is what you're saying Whenever you see the players dump a whole Gatorade jug on their coach after a Superbowl win, it's yellow. Dont say players dont drink the gatorade, they dont let it sit there.
And I know water isnt yellow.

athletes hydrate themselves with water before and after they play sports. water isn't fast-acting like an advil or a 5-hour energy drink shot, and plus it gives you cramps.

"You're such a moronic, arrogant fool who can not accept the truth." So many people take in sugar. I dont see ANYONE crashing because of whatever sugar they have had. I see people run with almost empty Gatorade bottles. They havent crashed.
Yeah, Im the moron ./sarcasm

Vader, you must know very little on the matter if you think that you can not get hyper or crash from sugar intake.
It is not a state of the mind that makes you that way...
I could claim the same thing with caffeine... I could tell YOU that caffeine doesn't make you hyper, it's just a state of mind.
Sugar releases lots and lots of energy very very quickly. You body is not capable of using so much energy so quick as it gets it, so it sends your body into an over-active mode in which your heart rate quickens, your breathing is made shallow, and your body tremors to compensate.
Caffeine does the same thing, but it is not because of excess energy, it is because of the chemical effect it has on the brain. It is for this, that caffeine is a DRUG. Caffeine is classified as a drug, because a drug is anything that alters the body or mind. Sugar does not alter the body or mind, because it is something the body can use. (Technically speaking your body can use anything, but in terms of your body using it to benefit itself, sugar would not be a drug.
If you have never heard of, nor seen someone getting hyper from sugar, you should seriously get out more. |

"plus it gives you cramps"
That happens when idiots waterlog themselves, probably like you do. You don't chug the water, you drink it normally, at NORMAL times throughout the day. During physical activity, one must consume slightly more to compensate for water loss, but that doesn't mean you chug a bottle when you sit...
And, @"Advil and 5 Hour Energy"
Seriously... if you take those things... you... no... just no.
Advil is for joint pain anyway... 5-Hour Energy is liquid concentrated caffeine... It's about as good as 12 cups of coffee. |
