Recently I've watched the Kony 2012 video on YT. I've realized how effective the internet is. Especially, of course, when ROBLOX released their opinion on SOPA. Now, even though "DOWN WITH SOPA" was put on all the comments, and it was kind of aggravating to see comment spam, it definitely showed something.

ROBLOX showing Kony 2012 on this website, getting the attention of every kid who plays this game, is definitely worth something. Because even if one kid can't do much, lots of kids can. And lots of kids can get the attention of their parents, or of their friends.

The more people who know about Kony 2012, the more of a chance we have to stop him by the end of this year. If you know nothing of this topic, I suggest looking it up. Seeing how much attention it's gotten, it can't be too hard to find.

So ROBLOX, I urge you to post on the News about Kony. The impact to these kids playing your game would be great.

This is NOT about SOPA! This is about Kony 2012, I was using SOPA as a reference to the impact it had on ROBLOX

This is not about SOPA ._.

1. What in tarnation is YT?

2. If you actually did research other than that *one* video by an untrustworthy organization, you would realize that pretty much everything described in the video happened almost a decade ago, and that his specific reign of terror is over. Nobody knows where JOSEPH Kony is, and he's definitely not in Uganda anymore. Yes, what he did was exceedingly horrible and wrong, but get your facts straight, bro.

Jamie if Kony wasn't doing such horrible things, the U.S. wouldn't bother putting it on their agenda to track him down and arrest him. In fact, I already did know that this was happening a decade ago, but thanks for making sure to tell me.

The U.S. has way too many other things on their agenda than to be bothered with something in another country that happened a decade ago and hasn't happened since. EITHER WAY, does a murderer get to kill someone, and then a decade later they learn that he was behind him and they say "Eh, nobody knows where he is, so nobody cares!"

That's how ridiculous it sounds.

Jamie, the point is, he hasn't been caught, basically you're saying that

If I walked in to a restaurant, and shot 10 people, as long as I didn't get caught within 10 years, I was clear?

lolno

YOU get your facts straight brah.

Yes, but as the video stated, they had a hard time getting the U.S. to put forces in there because it wasn't widely known! But it is now! I'm sure the government has their facts straight, Jamie. And don't "unreliable company" me :3

First of all, they still have to find him. The U.S. is in a multi-trillion dollar defecit and probably shouldn't spend money on finding and arresting (cough killing cough) this guy, unless some other country decides to help.

Secondly, Invisible Children sends less than half its proceeds to the Ugandan military to "find Kony" who isn't even *in* Uganda, and every staff member gets a six-figure salary. Not to mention they use the proceeds to go to Africa and take a bunch of pictures, the total cost being $2 million.

Reliable.

#7 he's not as big as he used to be, what I mean is he isn't doing those horrible things as frequently, and we don't even know if he's alive or if he is still doing those.
#8 WOW THE OTHER WARLORDS CURRENTLY KILLING THOUSANDS SHOULDN'T BE STOPPED, NOT WHEN WE CAN ARREST ONE THAT ALREADY KILLED THOUSANDS AND NOT SAVE PEOPLE, YEAH!
#9 Most of the footage they used was from '03-'04, Uganda is much more civillized and under control than it was.

1) Yup. That was mentioned. We got Bin Laden though huh?
2) Yus, but he's still a terrible person, and he CAN do more damage.
3) He's really up there.
4) Some of them do this as their ONLY job, and they have their own children to feed.
5) That's REALLY GOOD! Why is that BAD!?
6) Kk
7) But he still is, and that's what matters.
8) Who says that that wasn't mentioned either?
9) Uganda may be safe, but Kony's still out there ._.

@NOOB, I agree with you, but Iran actually has every reason to hate us. The U.S. and England did not behave like good little boys to them.

#10 WHY DONT WE EDUCATE THE AFRICANS? Maybe, just maybe, they won't have 15 kids and not be able to support one of them.

#13 freedom leads to idiots wanting war
#14 It isn't in our interest to let anymore big countries be developed.

Also, it doesn't mean we still can't get the word out about it on ROBLOX. What, just because you two think it's not that great of an issue doesn't mean it isn't a BIG issue! It still is, and this one is getting a lot of attention right now.

It's not productive to catch Kony when we can stop the warlords operating now.

No one wants a big country because then the big countries can't just imperialize, which is in our interest.
