RO-Port Tycoon is a VERY old game I released in early 2009. It was the first game I made 100% from scratch.
As a novice Lua coder at the time, I made it VERY inefficiently.
Earlier today, I made a new plugin that counts how many lines of code are in an ENTIRE game, and also spits out some other calculations.
Look at the number of scripts in the game (under duplicates thing)
Output:

| Crazy I very much love your Ro-Force base game and I was wondering if you'd update it anytime soon. You know update the owl maybe add more different ships. I am tired of playing with people that don't even know how to fly a plane. Please I beg you! |

| I do not own RO-Force. In fact, that game uses an old Plane tool from Nearmiss that, not to be mean, is very bad. |

Sorry, I'm not much of a scripting wizard.
So, if 465 scripts in a game is not a good thing, what amount of scripts should be in a game? |

@Seanaustinj - Most of my "higher end" games have less than 20.
Of course, some people make very small scripts for GUI buttons and such (which could and should be all linked together in 1) but those aren't really an issue. |

It really comes down to how efficient the coding is. But when it's scattered among hundreds of scripts, efficiency can't exist. |
