Is there any difference? According to cplusplus(DOT)com it says, same memory, same range (signed and unsigned), so is there really no difference? |

| Some compilers & platforms have 64-bit long data types. I think the only thing the C++ standard specifies is that longs are longer or equally long as ints. |

Windows~ Int - 32bit Double - 32bit Dos - Int - 16bit Double - 32bit C++ wasn't invented for windows. |

Incorrect! Doubles are 64 bits, and that IS part of the standard. |
