YES, HELLO MODERATORS,
TODAY IS THE DAY WHERE CAPITAL LETTERS BECOME POPULAR ONCE MORE, BUT NOT ONLY THAT. YOU HAVE A MAJOR BUG TO FIX.
IT IS MY DUTY TO INFORM YOU, AND ALL OF THE OTHER INACTIVE MODERATORS THAT YOU, ROBLOX MEN, HAVE A MAJOR BUG/GLITCH.
WHEN YOUR CHARACTER IS WALKING ON CLUMPED UP BRICKS, NOT JUST ANY CLUMPED UP BRICKS, BUT THESE BRICKS ARE SPECIAL. YES OH YES! THEY ARE CAN COLLIDE FALSE! BUT WAIT, HOW CAN A CHARACTER WALK ON CAN COLLIDE FALSE BRICKS!?
IT'S SIMPLE! WHEN THEY ARE CLUMPED TOGETHER IN HUNDREDS OR FIFTY'S, YOU ARE ABLE TO WALK AMONG THEM.
ROBLOX, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO PUT YOUR ATTENTION TOWARDS TO. THIS BUG/GLITCH STOPS MANY AMAZING GAMES (advertisement time: such as borderline, a ROBLOX FPS, your gun is consisting of 100+ bricks, it's a HUGE problem that you can walk on your own gun when it is at a certain angle, look up StudioMM on People for more info).
THIS GLITCH IS LIKE MY FOOT, WARTS CLUMP UP AND I START TO FLY, WAIT, THAT'S NOT A GLITCH. NEVER MIND.
BUT PLEASE, I BEG YOU, WE ALL BEG YOU TO FIX THIS! IT WILL SAVE HUNDREDS ON GAME DEVELOPERS, AND EVEN YOURSELVES (-1 bug yey). |

@Mat, bricks, by default, can be collided with. For any that cannot be collided with, the roblox engine has to check whether or not the bricks properties include collision being false, therefore, just for a millisecond, the cancollide = false brick you are touching, can in fact be collided with. Now clump a lot of these bricks together, what do you notice? The engine has to check all of those bricks on collision, that's what. So when you walk up a curve of bricks that should be walked through, it's cause of the engine being slow.
I'd love to see this fixed though. I've looked into quite a bit since first noticing it. |

It's part of the script, mat. The bricks all could be walked on, but for a split-second. It might be a script in the player, something I simplifed for you: "Walk: if brick can-collide= true then allow but if can-collide=false then force player to go through end" It might or might not be right, but it could be, its something that is probable. Its because the script in the player scans on contact, so thats why its like that, for it could always have to scan multiple bricks, so it seems to be like its a glitch.

| Oh, and also, when you touch another brick that's not can-collide, it causes all bricks' statuses to the player to "reset" so it makes sense you can stand on them. I have a somewhat similar problem with one of my gears, which creates a forcefield from ranged attacks. The problem is that its old, so inturn, its glitchy. It might've allowed for the FF to follow directly, but it was remade. So, when not jumping off a ledge, but walking, it has about a 1/5 chance of allowing the player to run mid-air using the same glitch you expierence. |

| YES THANK YOU WONDERFUL AND SAM FOR YOUR NOT-AS-SMART-AS-MAT852 POSTS, THIS IS WHAT ROBLOX SHOULD ATTEMPT TO FIX. MAYBE THEY COULD HAVE THE BRICK BEFORE THE USER TOUCHES IT TO BE CANCOLLIDE FALSE. |
