@hoo, Wimp? I'm level 27 and manage to kill 3 deathclaws with a hunting rifle. I'm trying to get ranked up slowly so I can then do Lonesome road, and the rest of the DLCs to get my self to lvl 40. So don't be calling people wimps, rookie.

I meant to put at 25, and really it doesn't matter what level when fighting deathclaws, they still kill. Only a hunting rifle and 3 stimpaks, just kept shooting them in the torso

I happened to finish the game by level 18-20 in FO3 in FO:NV I barely was 18 to finish the game, by the time I got to the end I got to level 18 and here the game ends. |

"and almost every supermutant at lvl 13?"
I'm pretty sure they never stop spawning. |

@Shimmy, Oh, because I would wipe some out in an area, come back and they wouldn't be there. Bug?

@ShimmyJimmy
The Fallout respawn system works like this: The enemy will respawn only if they are not part of a quest. Some NPCs disappear once you complete a quest. For example, if you need to get rid of super mutants in FO:NV in REPCONN test site once you get rid of them they won't come back ever again.
Another condition for a respawn is if the NPC is not hostile or human. If you kill a shop keeper, they won't come back, and no one shall replace them. If you were to murder all residents of a certain faction or town they won't come back either.
The only creatures to respawn are hostile and mostly animals. Not sure about human hostiles, maybe they DO respawn just didn't test it ever. |
