You'll know if it's designed for nVidia when, in the splash screen, it says:
NVidia: The way it's meant to be played.

@Julien: >ROBLOX can use both OpenGL and DirectX. I've edited my ROBLOX settings to always use OpenGL.
How can you change it, and why are you using OGL? |

"ROBLOX can use both OpenGL and DirectX. I've edited my ROBLOX settings to always use OpenGL."
Why would you do that? I'm assuming you don't have an integrated card that has crappy DirectX support, so you don't really have a reason to- oh wait you're an open-source nerd, that's right.

DirectX isn't complex either. In fact, DirectX is considered a far better choice and much easier to use if you need to develop for Windows. I know the Khronos Group is trying to extend the OpenGL library more with 3.x and 4.x, but DirectX jumped ahead a lot while OpenGL lagged behind with 1.x and 2.x. |

@pokelover980
I'm using OpenGL because it actually makes ROBLOX faster, not because I'm an open-source nerd and blahblahblah.
I've actually compared and OpenGL makes it faster. I don't know if it's faster in general with applications or anything, but, in my case, it is faster.
As for the appearance, I didn't manage to find any difference at all, they both look the exact same way. |

ROBLOX ported to Mac. They're NOT developping only for Windows. |

They use OGRE, so it's not too much of a problem for them, the graphics are handled for them. There's a reason OGRE defaults to DirectX on Windows. Also, I've noticed running Roblox with OpenGL over DirectX makes it a bit slower, noticeable especially when working with many moving blocks (but Roblox is just slow in general at that). |

That's why I added the thing in parentheses at the very end :P |
