First, by PC I mean Windows. Why? Good luck gaming on Mac/Linux.
Also, before you ask, I have owned all 3 and currently own a Windows 7 and PS3.
First section:
--PS3--
Released November 11, 2006 Third console in the PlayStation family. Sony
--Pros--
The online is free. Simplistic Controller Good exclusives (LBP, Uncharted) Previous generations of the PlayStation family were amazing, I had high hopes for it (PS2 had the Jak and Daxter series.)
--Cons--
Hardware is a bit outdated. Has issues with some Bethesda games (Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV) I believe it had a ridiculous launch price. I believe it has some security issues.
--Specs (copy and pasting)--
Of the original only: XrossMediaBar 3.2 GHz Cell Broadband Engine with 1 PPE & 7 SPEs 20 GB, 40 GB, 60 GB, 80 GB, 120 GB, 160 GB, 250 GB, or 320 GB hard drive 256 MB system and 256 MB video 550 MHz NVIDIA/SCEI RSX 'Reality Synthesizer'
--XBOX 360--
13 different variations ranging from hardware to space. Originally released on November 22, 2005 Microsoft
--Pros--
Better online Designed for FPS games Market Bigger hard drive
--Cons--
Hardware is a bit outdated. Has issues with some Bethesda games (Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV)
--Specs (copy and pasting)--
Of the original only: 3.2 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM clocked at 700 MHz 500 MHz ATI Xenos
--PC--
--Pros--
Digital Distribution is commoner. Usually more powerful More releases DLC earlier Sales are very common. High resolutions Better graphics Better performance Can play old games Exclusive indie games Flash games
--Cons--
Hackers/exploiters are a lot more common. Disk space. Stable internet is needed for some games. Sometimes video cards/processors are outdated very quickly.*
*The HD6450 was released in January 2011, a few months later the 6990 was released. The HD7xxx series is coming soon.
--Specs-- Varies.

"it has no gaems" that seems to be everyone's excuse yet i haven't had a problem finding the games i want for it. The only exception being dragon fable, but ps3 has it's own exclusives too.

PC is my preferred gamming system though. I can play just about anything and do about anything. Not to mention that if one were to be a pirate everything is FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
