-----Intro--------------------------------------------------------------
You just spent your hour and a half of computer time on paint. Editing, erasing, perfecting. Your beautiful masterpiece contains a unique comic about a noob and telamon over dinner with some soup issues, and you happily upload your ad. A little later, while browsing the forums, you see your ad, and joyfully click it. But instead of leading to your amazing obby, it leads to some noob's bUY MeHH!!1!! T-shirt. You have been another victim of the copy and paste catastrophe.

------Idea---------------------------------------------------------------
1.To automaticly turn ads into .gifs by taking the static image and adding a small image in the corner, like a waving guest or firing rocket. That way, if noobs try to copy the ad, it will be saved in .gif form and can't be uploaded. I know they could convert it to a static image, but it would be extra work for the noob.

2. To check uploaded ads against a database of all uploaded ads and if there was, say, 85% resemblence or higher it would not upload unless that user was the original submitter. This may take up a large amount of storage space, but it could only use about a month's worth of archives.

------Tl;Dr-----------------------------------------------------------------
Turn ads into .gifs, or compile ads into a small database of archived ads

...PrintScreen.

Or, for the Windows 7 users, the snipping tool.

With those methods still available, how would this actually prevent copying?

I've used photoshop a bit and there is this very simple way of adding a copyright watermark this provides a copyright simple on this picture which allows anyone copying the add to be caught right away because its near to imposible to remove.

Like above, they would use PrintScreen or something.
Anyways, to stop ALL ad copying, they should put a .gif FILTER over it, so it is only view-able through the computer-screen, can not be copied, and can't be copied through Snipping Tool or PrintScreen.

All hail the Power of DX!

I couldn't help but LOL. How can you possibly make a masterpiece with Paint?
