A question in ROBLOX often asked is, "How do I make a game that is famous?"
So, I am going to help you with your quest for a great game.
The key is to know what you want and what the public wants. Such things are: -Good logos and/or graphic designs. -Structures that go with the game AND applying textures to them. -Having great building designs. -Scripts to make the game more interesting. -Fancy screen GUIs, even if they don't do much it will grab the player's interest. -Try to not use well-known free models. -Give a purpose for the game. -Might sound strange, but create effective advertizments for the game. -Have good grammer, spelling, and punctuation in your description, your game's description/title, and anything that can relate with your game.
Don't know how to build? Well, practice building and even go to professional games and check out the building (and scripting) done there.
Use the ROBLOX Wiki and watch tutorials on how to script-you will become an expert in no time!
If you follow these steps, your game will be awesome! And just remember, look at other games to get ideas. |

What constitutes a good logo? How does one make a structure that goes with the game? What is a good building design? How would one make an interesting script? What denotes a GUI as fancy? Grammar is spelled grammar, not grammer. There's a Euler diagram on this. To sum it up, people who spell grammar grammer is a subset of those who correct people on their grammar. And how would one practice building?
Honestly. Not to insult you, you taking the initiative to make a guide is inspiring, but when making a guide you can assume NOTHING about the reader's prior knowledge. A good way to make a guide is to write it, then reread it as if you haven't the slightest as to what it's talking about or the methods it is describing, and then change your guide to suit those who might not understand. You should do this even for the obvious things, as you would be surprised at the level of ignorance people can have going into a topic, and it's not entirely their fault. Guide writing is a very complex topic (which is actually rather neo-ironic) and it's a good idea to learn before you teach. Thanks for your time.

I got the real answer to make an effective game, it all depends on the idea of the game.
This thread mainly explains how to decorate it good. |

| Nil, what you said is just sad. No dip Sherlock I spelled grammar like grammer. It is a joke. And, I HAVE learned. I am pretty sure I know more than you do. |

I agree with Nil, you need to make sure your guide is understandable for all people, like special ed, or little kids that play ROBLOX, etc. ~I like lions.~ |

| I am not famous. People only go to places if the person if famous. I have great games, and actually people try to make their own version. I am currently working on some cool games, though. I hope to get a lot of money to advertize them. And on another account, I made a gam called Gravity Wars, it got decent visits. |

These are not the way to create an effective game.
The MOST wanted aspect of a game is:
Social Play, that is friends playing with friends. Fun Value, if a game is that fun, people will play it.
No need for fancy UIs, or those crappy so called techs, free models will do the job. That's fact, because front page games are free models mostly, and it only matters if its fun or not. Doesn't matter if its advanced or anything really.

| Agreed with candymaniac. Why do people play j-beibs obbys? Because the person creating the obby is smart enough to observe the social media and base a game off of it that will keep people occupied and playing for long periods of time. A game with good content only can not hope to compete with a game that is designed to draw people in like an obstacle course. Get over it. |
