Ancient alien theory.
The Egyptions believed there gods came from a star sirius b, in the sirius conslitaltion. Whats so special about this? This star is not visible to telescopes, let alone the naked eye, and was found in 1974. They even had drawings of the binary star orbit. |

the galaxy is a huge place, if you compare the 14th largest star to our sun on a picture, if you lucky to may see a pixel representing our sun, same thing with the 14th and 1st largest star, now it sounds so amazing so you probably wont even know what i said, but i can find a video on this, now continuing on the subject on alien life. It is *almost* impossible for life to form, and extremely lucky process it is also next to impossible for earth to be the only source of life, so i can believe that earth is not the only source, other life is out there, it is a matter of reaching it, which takes thousands of years, by then humans will be extinct. They would have to come to us first.

I think that past civilizations are not more advanced than us today, but I think we have the same technology. I read in an article they found a computer-like device the size of a shoebox, somewhere in the atlantic.

| Our society is more advanced than the ancient ones, however alot of technology was lost when the roman empire collapsed and we had to re-discover after the dark ages. |

It's a hypothesis, not a theory, and a very bad hypothesis at that.

| How do you know they believe it came from that particular star? A drawing with 2 big circles with smaller circles orbiting around them? |

| @person: No because it was a drawing of the constilation sirius, and the EXACT location of the star inside it. |

Please try to use reliable sources like NASA, not stupid Ancient Aliens websites.
At a distance of 2.6 parsecs (8.6 ly), the Sirius system is one of Earth's near neighbors; for Northern-hemisphere observers between 30 degrees and 73 degrees of latitude (including almost all of Europe and North America), it is the closest star (after the Sun) that can be seen with a naked eye |

| You have no right to critisise someone on a minor mistake when you argue that Egypt moved from South America to its current location in only 6000 years. |
