Role playing game :P So far I have monsters that attack not based on arms touching you, but on the distance between them. I have it set so if you get within 10 studs it does a random value of damage - your level + its level. |

Added: Monsters give no XP if you are 5 levels above them Added: Swords slow the monster, but his speed goes back up

Candy, you are kind of right :P I am planning on building the system for a great rpg then making a small demo game to gain publicity before building a full game. |

Lol, sometimes I do that to. So basically, what you'd want to do is, create the main 'engine' as I call it, where it would be just copy-paste-edit all the way after the main stuff is done, lol.
Quest system, since I saw it's lacking it. Shops, since it's lacking it. etc.

| I am making the quest system now. There wont be much in terms of shops, your sword upgrades as you level. However I plan on making a drop system for money and quest loot. Items in this game are in two categories: Physical and Nonphysical. Physical items are your sword, magic, and potions. Nonphysical items are things like quest items that cannot be equipped. There will be a special gui for nonphysical items. |

Oh! How about a dungeon-run system? In where a party could go in a dungeon system, kinda like in Zombie Tower, in where they are taken to rooms and fight off waves of enemies.

| I was planning on implementing some sort of party system, however the xp and loot systems would need to be completely redone. As of now players could form unofficial parties and divide the treasure amongst themselves. |

Make a value, containing objectvalues of players that are part of the party. Then, when they kill something, a percentage of it could go to other players:
game.Players:FindFirstChild(objectvalue.Value.Name).leaderstats, etc.
How about that?

Hmm... maybe guilds too? The problem is that, to make GUIs, the data needs to be saved from one server to another, which is impossible.

| The level and XP in the game already saves automatically. If you mean place to place, roblox is adding in universes for that feature. |
