The entire summer of 2010 gave me a fair understand (starting from nothing)
The biggest tip I can give to a new scripter is to just keep doing it. It's just like building, the more you do it, the better you get at it. It's mostly just memorization of the methods and classnames. |

Uh, few months. Of course, that's only up to intermediate-ish level.

| Hard to say. You never stop learning. I got the basics down in about a year. but then I was haveing problems in my scripts, and diden't understand some finer points. I learned by looking at simple scripts, like admin doors. I would edit them to make only me allowed in, then then try to make it a shirt door aswell. took forever, but soon I cought onto the syntax, then gained an understanding of WHY. takes a year of 1 hour a day that way. not counting sundays and other special days. |

| If you get a teachers, it may be shorted to 3 months for the basics, if they are good aswell. If you where a fast learner, and had a good teacher, maybe a month and 1/2 before you are makeing your own. |
