First off: I hate Characters.

Now for the problem:

I have made an object that is designed to replace the character (A small tank to be precice) but it jitters a bit when it moves. I strongly belive this could be fixed by making it the players character but (Problem!) whenever I set it to the players character the player 'Respawns' but without any new character (So I can select the tank-creating hopperbin again).

So, how can I set the character of a player to annother instance without the backpack being 'reset'?

It has to have a Humanoid in the model + a Head and Torso that are connected.

This would be a pseudo-respawn system.

game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player)
player.CharacterAdded:connect(function(character)

character = Instance.new("Part", workspace)

while (character == nil) do
character = Instance.new("Part", workspace)
end

end)
end)

So just focus the camera on that part and hide the character elsewhere.

Are you talking about the camera moving with the bot or the bot moving?

The bot moving. Actually, is it simply a problem with BodyVelocity?

Most likely it is BodyVelocity getting weighed down. Try using BodyPosition or if you're lazy, weld it to something anchored and then move it around with CFrame.
