At my school there's usually no homework except studying, no written work except note taking if you choose to do it, oh and quizzes and tests.
To those who say school is like a "prison" alot of kids in other countries can't even read/write because they don't have schools there.
Be grateful |

Wait until you get into Advanced Placement courses, where you have pages of information and giant textbook chapters to read every night, large writing assignments and essay tests, and hard, expensive exams to take.
Yeah, I'm grateful for being able to learn and get an education, but that doesn't mean I'm always going to enjoy it. |

"Be grateful"
Yes. Be grateful that they are chiseling away at what makes me uniquely me. Destroying creativeness by the third grade and replacing it with obedience. I am happy to have my life already mapped out for me. I get to enjoy a dull and boring life at school and then, here comes the best part, I GET TO BE AN ACCOUNTANT! YES, WORKING 8 hours a day, 5 days a week in a cramped office cubicle! Making money that will be depleted by taxes and food and gas money and a car and a mortgage and so on. I am living the life.

| The education system is broken. You are not getting the education that you could fully be getting. I believe that magnet schools are a great idea. |
