In my 4 years of Roblox, I have met well over 20000 people who have no grammar WHATSOEVER. they talk lik dis and u cant even tell wat deyr sayin. So I made these simple rules from my own personal experience on how to act like a civil human being:
1. Use capitalization when needed. This includes countries, languages, I, & beginning of sentences. BUT DONT OVERUSE CAPS LIKE THIS, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE SCREAMING.
2. Use good punctuation. Even with capitalization, no grammar makes you sound like a bum and your sentences run into each other. Sort of like this: where people seem like theyre ranting on about something annoying isnt it.
3. Do't overuse Exclamation marks/Question marks. Like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 or 2 of those are enough.
4. Do NOT shorten words. "U" instead of "You" is just wrong. If you're too lazy to type two extra letters, get off the Internet.
5. Try your best at spelling. You don't need to be perfect, just make an effort.
6. If you get in an argument, try to obey these rules as much as possible. If the other person is putting a good argument and all you say is: "ur a noob", you won't get your point across. Which leads me to...
7. Please refrain from using "Pwned". If you have killed someone, keep quiet about it. Everybody in the server does NOT need to know. And "tl;dr". If it isn't some gigantic monster wall of text on the forum, you're probably just lazy.
8. This is the most important one. DO NOT CALL RANDOM PEOPLE "NOOBS" (I'm actually yelling here.)!! I cannot count HOW many times I've killed someone and they have said "ROT'S A NOOB! ROT'S A NOOB!!" Understand that a "Noob" is a NEW PLAYER. NOT someone who is getting on your nerves, and NOT a person who has succesfully killed you. If you are not a veteran (Or you've been on for less than a year) You can go ahead and take "Noob", it's true. No offense.
Thank you for taking your time in listening. |

@Richie We all use our own opinions. Mine is everyone on ROBLOX should use accurate grammar. Everyone else's is it's just a game. I respect that. Just keep these rules in mind. |

Oh wow where do I start...
- ~ - ~ -
"In my 4 years of Roblox, I have met well over 20000 people who have no grammar WHATSOEVER. they talk lik dis and u cant even tell wat deyr sayin. So I made these simple rules from my own personal experience on how to act like a civil human being:"
First, it's ROBLOX not Roblox. Second, it's 20,000 not 20000. Third, it's not : after the human being it's ; in this case.
- ~ - ~ -
"Use capitalization when needed. This includes countries, languages, I, & beginning of sentences. BUT DONT OVERUSE CAPS LIKE THIS, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE SCREAMING."
First, "Use capitalization when need. This includes.." you don't put a period in that case, you put a comma. Second, "This includes countries, languages, I, & beginning of sentences." it should be ", this includes countries, languages, the word I and the beginning of sentences." Third, "BUT DONT OVERUSE CAPS LIKE THIS, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE SCREAMING." I know you were setting an example but the example was only for caps, meaning you should have put "DON'T" instead of "DONT."
- ~ - ~ -
"Use good punctuation. Even with capitalization, no grammar makes you sound like a bum and your sentences run into each other. Sort of like this: where people seem like theyre ranting on about something annoying isnt it."
First, "Use good punctuation. Even with capitalization.." it should be "Use good punctuation, even with capitalization.." being that you're telling others to use good punctuation, maybe you should set a good example yourself. Second, ", even with capitalization, no grammar makes you sound like a bum.." it should be ", even with capitalization no grammar makes you sound like a bum.." being that the comma was not needed in that segment of the sentence, it was utterly useless. Third, "Sort of like this: where people seem like theyre ranting on about something annoying isn't it." it would be "they're" not "theyre", also not "isnt" but "isn't", oh but it goes on! Instead of saying the sentence like that, you need to put a break between "on about something annoying isn't it." you would put a comma between "something" and "annoying".
- ~ - ~ -
I'm not in the mood to pick at the rest and tear them down so you can build it back together a lot better, but I'm just saying that before you tell someone how to do something you need to set an good example yourself first.
