Several Orbitians, including Atm and myself, have decided to pool money to buy a booth for OSU at the ROBLOX Conference 2012. I myself at the time have $140 to spend, $400 in possibilities. We need $150 for a booth, not to mention each person's individual prices for tickets to enter, mode of transportation, food and rental fares, and prices for the family members coming over also.
In short, anyone who's going is going to need money if they don't live in the immediate Silicon Valley area.
I myself will in total have to secure about $500 for car, hotel, food, and entrance prices. Not to mention contributing to the $150 we need. We can spend $300 for a bigger booth however I don't think we'll need that big of a booth.
I'm willing to contribute an extra $50 to the booth, covering 1/3 of booth cost. The rest is for my family to come with me.
We need 2 other people willing to contribute $50, or at least several others to contribute up to $100.
This is for OSU to get to know each other and plan future OSU events in person. It works well because if we know each other in real life it makes it easier to discuss, rather than behind a pixelated avatar.
I estimate for a group of 3 people going to the Conference, each individual OSU will have to pay about $400 assuming they live in the US and they're paying for it by themselves.
I greatly encourage all OSU to be there if possible. This will give us some coordination strength, and we can all be better in our efforts to make OSU larger and better than before.
If you do plan to come, Private Message me two weeks before the Conference. That's the deadline, otherwise we won't have time to coordinate a booth.
Good luck OSU, this could be a chance to give ourselves the edge.
On a side note, we could also use this as an informational stand, giving us a HUGE advertisement edge.

| To be honest, fit eh users family is letting them go, they would most likely let them go, it would just be greatly supportive for funds to have decorations, T-Shirts, and also for the booth. |

It's important, because I don't think OSU is selling booths right now.
