Expansionist foreign policy and imperialist ambitions with wars against Iran, Syria, re-deployments to Afghanistan, etc.

I am not sure if sarcastic or not.
If not, then I deny to salute people that kill people. And I am never ever going to pray one second for every dead person overseas, just no.
Is sarcastic, then durr. |

Same here, I'm not sure if this is sarcastic or not.
Imperialism is just wrong. Wars are just because of corporations' want of money, resources and such, also governments. Lots of people have to die so they could earn money, or be correct in an arguement.

Remembrance day, for WWI and WWII I will salute because they had absolutely no choice. The men were forced.
But Iraq? Afghanistan? Sorry, no. They went in there voluntarily and my sympathy for them is somewhat reduced because they were stupid enough to join the military in the first place.
Unlike WWII, none of the soldiers actually know what they're fighting for. |

| And yes, Twigs' post is somewhat sarcastic and it's evident that he doesn't support these wars. |

| They set up puppet regimes and control them externally, so yes, they did take territory. |

I find the lack of appreciation for soldiers disturbing. It doesn't matter if they went there willingly or not, We're heading back to this it seems-

I've seen many Serial Killers that have done it for pure reasons, but I don't see anybody respecting them. |

| Serial killers take joy and pride in what they do, Do you honestly think Soldiers enjoy killing people? Yes, They join the army and know fully well they are going to kill someone, But its two complete things. The soldier is fighting and killing for the people back home and his friends beside him. Most people do not understand this, So why don't you quit hiding behind a computer and get out infront of them? |

They're not helping us by doing what they're doing out there. The one good thing about Isolationism is that we only get into wars that the country's future hinge upon.

Oh not sarcastic, seems like.
Well, I don't think attacking a country because it "harbored terrorists" and "kept WMD's" is defence of a nation. If they had the WMD's and used it on the US, then okay, but they didn't, and they haven't even used it. |

'when nearly 28% of total US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan at the end of 2007 consisted of mobilized personnel of the National Guard and other Reserve components.' - Then you have these laws...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Defense_Authorization_Act_for_Fiscal_Year_2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Warner_National_Defense_Authorization_Act_for_Fiscal_Year_2007
When pretty much made the governor irrelevant to the National Guard. The government took National Guardsmen and said LOL YOUR EXPEDITIONARY SOLDIERS NOW! |

Can you understand that fighting a country overseas to find WMD's that doesn't exist isn't defending your country but an act of aggression? |
