| Minus London and Glasgow, which would be my obvious choice, i'd say Moscow. I've never been, but by George is that architecture NICE! And those metro stations, oh my. I have never seen such decadence in a public facility. |

Jakarta. 'Cause there's a certain light feeling when you're there and I was from there, eh?

the problem in kiev is that it was propably demolished and built again in the soviet style
Tallinn, Vilnus and Riga are medieval cities with old churches and narrow streets and old, beautiful buildings. The baltic region was a major traderoute of salt with Sweden, Finland and Germany. You know, helsinki was founded to compete against Tallinn, the capital of Estonia?
Poland is beautiful with its culture filled cities like Warsaw, Gdansk and Krakow. They are full of beautiful churches, medieval castles and lovely architecture.
Budapest and Prague are the hearts of central europe and you could imagine yourself walking in the streets of those two cities and violin music is around you
Moscow and St Petersburg are the hearts of the slavic culture and innovation, same with Belgrade, Sarajevo and Bratislava
but kiev? no.
