How much have petrol/gasoil (Same thing.) prices risen since Iran stopped shipping oil?
I think they will do the same to the US. I would like to get a thought on how much the embargo is affecting you guys.
Oil prices are already rising int he US. |

Their rising because the media perpetuated fears of war with Iran, which caused an artificial inflation in speculation. Its the same thing with the Arab Spring (Which we saw no major effect of oil shipments) etc.
Its all stupid. I wish I wasn't so much a man for press rights so i could shut down fear mongers. |

| Petrol prices are weird, whoever keeps making up the prices for Petrol here is drowning in money, a few years back it went to £1.00 per litre, then a year or so later it went to about £1.40, then supermarket petrol stations cut the prices of their fuel to below 99p, but now it's risen again to over £1.40 per litre. In reality, the minimum amount of money needed to make a profit on the fuel (including tax) would be about 50- 60p per litre, why these prices are so high is beyond me; it's also interesting to compare these prices to the other Oil producing nations (especially in arab nations, where Petrol is less than 15p per litre). |

@Yobobo
It's OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) that decides the prices, which is basically the middle east. |
