The Mercs run most operations for America now. My dad is going to Iraq in March. My opinion on the Afghanistan war is to take down the hierarchy of the Taliban then leave it to mercs and a couple thousand remaining ground troops. Maybe even sit back and watch the Afghans rip each other apart for control.

>Iraq afghanistan same difference. It's the same war anyway. ---- Also Afghanistan isn't a war, it's counter terrorism. Iraq war was against a dictator, Afghanistan counter terrorism is against the Taliban. |

Just because U.S troops pulled out doesn't mean Mercs can't be hired to go there.

Not the army, the National police force which is basically the National defense. They handle the breaking in of Taliban's door at 4 AM.

Yes but the difference is the National Police handle almost everything inside Iraq. Now lets say the Taliban became rebels against Iraq then the Army and Mercs step in.

They aren't wars anymore. There is a reason to be there, money. Also jhano I told my dad what you said and he replies,"A paycheck is a paycheck, my job is to get people or supplies from point A to point B and kill anything that tries to stop us."
