(INSERT NAME HERE):
A scaly humanoid creature, that comes in light cool colors. They can talk, but their voices are raspy, and usually communicate using thoughts with other members of their race.
(just ideas though, not complete descriptions) |

| I'll work on Cities. Give me a basic idea of what culture you want to inhabit the city, and it's geographical location, and I'll make it. |

How about a race of humans that were exposed to a desise and they turn absolutly pale and are cold blooded but they are dised by others because other humans think being around them will turn themselves into a pale cold blooded human.
Is that good?
here is a city: It is mostly just land parts cut of by water as the whole are is surrounded by waterfalls and the are was once flooded but the water dig into ditches and made tunnels back to these lakes.
Is that good? |

Terranaltus
History
Long before history was even a term, there lived a group of hyper advanced Dwarves. They were kings, ruling the world with their technological superiority. However, they were overthrown by the combined forces of the other races, and retreated in Terranaltus to thrive. However, a plague struck, and the race died, trapped by their own ingenuity as the machines prevented all from leaving. Now, the machines roam the halls, guarding the corpses of their own masters.
Design
The city was built on the side of a mountain, supported by enourmous pillars. The mountain itself was hollowed out, and turned into a massive factory for machines that still runs today. There are many corpses to be found, almost all of which have turned into skeletons. A few have even rose from the dead! The machines themselves are fairly simplistic -- no designs, no art. Just a simple shape, normally a cube or a rectangular prism, with legs and weapons. The most advanced and least common even have primitive guns.
Inhabitants
Ancient Dwarven Undead, Ancient Dwarven Machinery
Possible Storylines
After millenia, the machines have started to leave the city, terrorizing the outlying towns. You will be the first to enter since the gates first closed, and must stop the machines.
Is that any good? |

Steam Dwarves
Appearance
They are thought to have grey skin, with flecks of black and white, due to ancient documents, and they have been known to account for their lack of size with large Mechanicals.
History
The Steam Dwarves arrived seemingly out of nowhere, appearing in the world from within long dormant volcanoes, and instantly siezing control of the major empires. Their machines made it easy. In reality, they had lived inside the volcanoes for years, deactivating them themselves, and focused solely on technology. They were a single society. No houses, no royalty, just a single mind. Culture stagnated. Politics were eliminated. Law was discarded. Everything was technology. They themselves turned into mindless machines inside shells of flesh. When they attacked, nobody was prepared, and they sweeped through the nation. They then went to work forcing the other races into slavery, forcing them to create the massive factories and hollow factories required to build their empires. These slaves began to coordinate, using the Dwarves own explosives against them, destroying entire factories, collapsing whole mountains. The Dwarves, powerless without their machines, were swiftly eliminated, with the remaining stragglers retreating into their home city and closing the doors to the outside world, where plague, and their own machines, eventually wiped them out forever. All that remains of them now is their technology, waiting to be rediscovered and harnessed, ushering the world into the Industrial era centuries before they would otherwise have. |

Haalkuth Peaks
The largest mountain range in Terralace, Haalkuth is also one of the strangest mountain ranges on the planet. The mountains are interlaced with an overabundance of minerals, making them appear to glow in the sunlight, with silver, copper, and gold dominating the colours. The mountains are also home to Dwarves and Giantiines, with the intricate cities of the former towering over the smaller villages of the latter.
(I will write a thing for the Giantiines. And a language. :|) |
