Eminem music makes me want to stab every person who has sullied the word "rapport" into something so meaningless and hollow
However, When I'm Gone seems deep, showing how people can be traumatized so deeply by the effects of the music industry and constant pressure from it. Aside from that, it's about filthy wenches and soaring like a kite. |

Darn right. I just think that rap as a genre is too shallow really. Actually, music in general is too shallow usually nowadays. Certain songs, such as When I'm Gone, P!nk's "Perfect" and Johnny Cash's "Hurt". They show deep and meaningful struggles.
Actually, now that I think about it, "Cleanin' Out My Closet" delves into a criminal past which was covered up. Also, Eminem has no snare for his microphone. |
